Even though Speed Moriya is top tier I dont see him winning or being played as much as other characters.He is also one of coolest chars in game.

Man, the Moriya player was just blindly attacking. There were many instances where he could have gone in for a throw or ended a combo with a teleport so he could be safe. Many times, instead of teleporting and kicking the player on the ground, he would teleport and to a LP jab. He missed many opportunities.

I was using Neoragex and I never managed to make the guys bleed. But they do on Nebula and MAME(if u activate cruel play mode from the options)

If you´re using neoragex you need to go to "machine settings" and activate "mvs settings" then you launch the game and in "setting up the soft dip"(?) you turn of the option cruel fight, it´s the same in all neoragex roms. Have fun!

When I first watched this video I always viewed it as the Amano player simply taking the match. Watching it now I can see the Moriya player totally fell apart in the 3rd round, and the Amano player capitalized. Even though he started to get his shit back together in the 4th round it was too little too late.

I like Power Amano for his super cancel but Speed and EX Amano's alternate combo tree a,b,c,a,b,c,c,qcf+b does almost 70% damage. At least in the Neo version; maybe it was fixed in the console ports.

Those are hard to hit on anyone at high levels. You can't combo into them, because there's just enough time for them to jump and air deflect it.

The only 100% way to land a speed combo special is off a deflect, and you can force them to try and block it off a reset in the corner.

I'm not really on kaillera anymore actually. I just recently had a chance to visit Japan and that kind of made me interested in arcade fighters again. (Though my ass has been wooped miserably there both in LB2 and SC2)

Is this relatively an old match? People that play in GIGO tourney (or tokyo tourney in general) seemed better overall than Acho ppl, but that was also quite a while ago.

the amano charecter was reading the enemy in the first round and learned the tactics and used this to kick ass in the rest of the rounds .

The players at the VIP tournament weren't quite as good as the ones at a-cho.

However, most top level players tend not to deflect too much, especially in tournament matches, because it's taking a big risk most of the time.
