Utah fans drink in order to ease the pain of losing. As a BYU fan, I can't wait until they have to go to Wyoming this year. I hope you guys give 'em a very "warm" welcome after what happened last season.

Why are you so against drinking? You're one of the most judgemental people I've ever seen. Holy shit, it's just a bunch of guys having some fun at a football game. Can they do that without being judged by some complete stranger?

Why? I'll tell you why. Because every single year I have to put up with these drunken fools at the BYU/Utah game. When the game is in Provo, it's not too bad. They can't bring beer into the stadium so they just get really drunk and belligerant before the game. This last year one guy was so drunk that he passed out before the game even started and had to be carried out by security. But the worst is when the game is in Salt Lake City. You're surrounded by a sea of red, drunken idiots.

They can't bring alcohol into Rice-Eccles either. And they don't sell it in the stadium. Not nearly as many people are drunk at Utah games as you would like to think

.... It's not that hard to sneak a couple beers in, but there is no way you could sneak enough in to get drunk. And i don't know why you think this; but just becasue somebody is having a beer doesn't mean they're drunk.... or that they even want to get drunk.

I've sat by a number of Ute fans who were clearly drunk. I imagine they had started drinking well before the game started. In last year's game down in Provo, a Utah fan sitting about five rows above me was so drunk he passed out even before the game started. Security guards, as well as an off-duty cop in the crowd, had to carry him out.

So? It's not bad to get drunk. Drinking until you pass out is a little excessive. But don't blame all Ute fans because you had a bad experience around a drunk guy. I've had a ton of bad experiences at LaVell Edwards. One time after a game down there I came out and all of my tires were slashed because I had a UTAH sticker in my window. I don't accuse the entire fan base; just the one miserable ass-hole who did it.
