  • So what about 3 double bonds? Is -diene the only ending?

  • @bubblez94 if there are 3 double bonds it would be a triene

  • how about if there are more than one double bonds?

  • @bubblez94 I thought I did one with 2 double bonds. When I checked it appeared that I didn't. If there are 2 double bonds, label the numbers and instead of it ending in "ene", it would end with "diene" - for 2 double bonds. Hope this helps.

  • Alkenes don't only contain double bonds though?

  • @TheBlueJamie Yes they do. If it contains a triple bond it's considered an alkyne

  • I am just so confused about adding hydrogen bond..

  • You saved my A... I was about to lose my A because I was starting to not understand little bits here and there... so anytime I questioned something i looked you up and watched your classes and "BINGO" it was clear to me. Thanks so much!!! HUGS

  • @fumbducks1 As a matter of fact, that's right. Amazing what kind of errors happen when recording live. Thank you for your other comment, it's greatly appreciated. Good luck with your studies.

  • you're a legend.

  • Brilliant!

  • I love your videos they have helped me so much. However I wish they was a better system of numbering the lessons because it is sometimes difficult to find the lesson needed. thanks for the help.

  • @rhankins0 I wish there was a better system as well. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to update the titles to enable a better following system. Unfortunately that system can be found on my iTunes channels (which are free btw). Thank you for your kind words. Best of luck with your studies.
