Jesus or Christus(os) is an adaptation of an earlier Christian Christos named Serapis. He is the depiction of the Greek pharaoh Ptolemy l aka Soter (ca. 283-367 B.C.E.). The native Kemetian(ancient Egyptian) refused to deify him, but compromised on an image called Serapis(ca 350 B.C.E) aka Christus. Serapis from Osiris and Apis the bull. The worshipers were called the bishop of Christ. It is important to know that this is pre-christianity and there was no Jesus at this time
This guy is the greatest comedian of our time. A charismatic dimwit, Francis once relayed that he and his father "traveled to a country called... Germany." Wow, where's that?! His father then gave an entire sermon in German, according to funny man Francis, even though he had never spoken a word of German. I love this guy. Endless comedy.
I see how SOME people just seem to take some of the word and bring all these theological arguments the letter killeth but the spirit gives life 2corinthians 3:6 stop coming with the knowledge of man but with the power of the holy ghost if he was talking to some on in tounges but there was a moment when he connected with God and touch not my annointed were critsing men of God Bishop John Francis is truly a man of God.
When he started speaking in tongues and said "Oh yall don't understand that, but I'm breaking up some things in the spirit!!" People don't understand the POWER of the heavenly language!! Only God can understand!! I agree 100% I felt something!! HIYA!!
He is not talking to us, he was speaking to God (1 Cor. 14:2). If it was something that God wanted that entire church to know, trust there would be an interpretation.
Youre not understanding that verse. The word "tounges" means glossalila.... Which is real languages... Paul was against the practicce of the Corinithians who babbled in tounges to look spiritual.
Everytime someone spoke in tounges in Scripture spoke in real languages.
I have a question then. If you say that this is just babbling then explain why Paul in Corinthians stating that he himself prayed in the spirit. 1Cr 14:14 - For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. The fact of the matter is that the power of the Holyghost manifested on the day of Pentecost in an unknown tongue and also in diversity of tongues meaning speaking in another language as the spirit gives utterance.
The greek word for Tongue like you said is "glossa". The full meaning for it "glossa" is the language or dialect used by a particular people distinct from that of other nations. Jesus himself stated that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. We as believers are from a kingdom that has its own distinct language ie tongues. This is when our spirit communicates with God's spirit.
To answer your question: In 1 Cor 14:14 Paul is speaking sarcastically to the Corinthian church. See 1 Cor 4:16. The difference between the singular tounge and pluar tounges is foundational to understand 1 Cor 14 glossa/glossalila.
Paul uses the singular to distinguish the counterfeit gift of pagan gibberish and the plural to indicate the genuine gift of foreign language.
Paul was speaking hypothetically to illustrate the foolishness and pointlessness of speaking in ecstatic gibberish. The speaker could not understand, and what virture is there in praying to God or praising God without understanding? No one can "Amen" such nonsense.
He's just babbling. either he's a MASON or a just a confused person. He should go back to Afrika, and recognise the culture of his ancestors. They were taken as slaves, and then raped, pillaged and lied to by the white man with his RELIGION. Black people are sooo confused, it makes me angry.
OMG some of yall need to get a freakin life!!!!! Leave the man alone if u dont like him!!!

Whenever someone spoke in tounges in Scripture, it was always in verifiable languages.
This here is just a bunch of babbling, of someone trying to look like a spiritual giant.
How do you know to say "Amen" to something that you cannot understand because hes just babbling?

That's your view. There are MANY views on tongues, so I'm not going to argue. You can choose which one you want.

What are those other views? Why not study the Bible to find the answer?

Yep, Paul was condemning the church at Corinth's use of pagan tounges seeking to counterfiet the real gift which was real verifiable languages.
1. Tongues is a sign to unbelievers. It's a sign that God is speaking.
2. If used in the Church it must always be translated, so that it can have the purpose of edifying the believers who don't know what's being said.
3. There is to be no speaking in tongues unless it is interpreted.
Theres more.
