  • ive been workin with mud for 25 yrs and came up with pretty good designs but im finding your technique is great. I want to do the combing but i can't find the combs here in the US. Ild like to do a comb at 12/8 or 6/8 and finishup with a 4-6 at the trim. its an old house so I want to give it that old look. got any suggestions for an old house? can I make a comb cause I can't locate any.

  • @frank36243 Yes Frank thank you for your comments. I have combs ready made I send out to customers worldwide, also, I have a set of templates & instructions so that you can make your own comb tools. Just visit my websites for the information & fire away any questions you have. Regards Dale

  • wow didnt realise artexing was still in use, when its done like that it looks good i like it

  • @upbeek1 Thank you for your comment upbeek1 I'm glad you like it, as here in the UK I do hope it takes off like it did back in the day, it used to come around, then slow down, only to come back around again, it all depends on various folk & what finish they desire, I think, when done properly, looks amazing on ceilings especially.
