  • @GOministry thumbs up for ur comment! God bless ya!!

  • I like the song too!!!!!!! Man man man, just close your eyes and let God sing to you and you to Him. Don't get carried away and please don't carry away the blessing that one could have with that song by reading your poor comments

  • I read your comments to locoveggie and you specifically said you're tired of the holiness and separation being explained away as people being 'open' and 'loving'. If that isn't saying holiness is higher than love I don't know what is. If we preach the gospel = good news then we can't go wrong.

  • @godsfavoritechild7 (continued) at bott, so just get your question answered elsewhere. You have been warned!! Haha proceed with caution.

  • when I hear people say holiness is more important than love I wonder which bible they're reading. How do you escape Love in the bible? It's everywhere. Just a thought I had just then. I'm sure mr moderator of these comments will have something to say to cleanse my soul of all the filth ie Love i'm spreading. Haha To @godsfavoritechild7, you could try poa's website for more info. You'll get swallowed up by the moderator here who might think your pastor isn't holy enough to have even preached at

  • @iampntcostl You are dishonest. Your point is dishonest. Nobody said holiness was more important than love. You made that up. It is a total lie. Can I be any plainer? It's a straw man argument. But love is not more important than holiness, which you seem to believe. They are both necessary.

  • 'Set a fire down in my soul that I can't contain, that I can't control. I want more of you God, I want more of you God. No place I'd rather be, no place I'd rather Be, there's no place I'd rather be, then here in your love, here in your love'. :) You could also tag, 'the more I seek you' by Kari Jobe to it. We did and my what a powerful move of the holy ghost. Beautiful words to that song as well. So many songs compliment this one well.

  • does anybody have the videos of bott 2012 or where i can order the i'd like to see how my pastor Todd Johnson did i heard he did great but haven't seen it yet!!

  • LMAO!

  • @larrisajackson I rest my case. Your language just illustrated where you're coming from. LMAO is not a Godly expression.

  • Even if you were correct in your assumption, none of these carry a demonic spirit like hip-hop. Your argument is idiotic. You are grasping at straws. You have a spirit of the world. It is the same spirit we see in the entertainment industry.

  • @LocoVeggie You're not qualified to be a fruit inspector. You're a knucklehead with a worldly devil as big as a mule. Just because you know a few scriptures doesn't mean anything. The devil quoted Scripture while trying to tempt Jesus. You have a disdain for holiness that overrides everything else. I'll go out on a limb and say the majority of your input comes from TV, movies, and pop culture. You know all about Hollywood and the entertainment stars. I've seen it too many times to be wrong.

  • @sensibleadult I know prayer, fasting, feeding the hungry, visiting jails and nursing homes. I know selling peanut brittle, plate lunches, and having church "garage" sales. I know Acts 2:38, Azuza Street and "All in Him." I've been to more UPC conferences outside the US than in it, with missionaries. I've taught Sunday School and Search for Truth. I was a high-school Spanish teacher for 7 years, and went back to school and became an RN. I love Jesus and I even love you!

  • @LocoVeggie But you don't believe holiness is necessary, do you? And you are consumed with pop culture, aren't you? And you think people who believe in holiness are old fashioned and behind the times, don't you?

  • @sensibleadult You have had quite a bit of dialogue on here with iampntcostl, and with me. Do you love us?

  • @LocoVeggie I noticed you did not answer the question. But I will answer yours. Yes, I love you so much that I am fighting against the corruption that is taking over our churches. I am sick and tired of being told practically every week about another Pentecostal church that no longer believes what it has always believed, and that things our forefathers preached are now considered outdated. I see it happening as a result of good people allowing their minds to be filled with the rotgut on TV.

  • @LocoVeggie I see it happening as a result of entertainment taking the place of anointed worship, and hype replacing the Holy Ghost. We are being systematically stripped of all that has brought us to where we are. As a result, we are going to be powerless just like any denominational church. There is no power without purity. We are on the road to accepting homosexuality. It is already strutting on our platforms and in our choirs. I am saddened anew almost daily to see what is happening.

  • @LocoVeggie And it's because people who should know better are allowing themselves to be deceived, and justifying it as being "open minded" and "loving". Separation from the world is no less necessary than it was fifty or a hundred years ago. God has not changed. The Gospel has not changed. Men change. Someone has to jam on the brakes, or we are going over the cliff very soon.

  • @sensibleadult I think you need some medication, or shock treatment, or maybe to remove that satanic shrine you have hidden in your closet. If anyone is grasping at straws, it is you. You rave like a lunatic, and you're an idiot. You reek of the work of satan. God rest your wicked soul.

  • @larrisajackson No, my dear, what I'm saying corresponds exactly to the Scriptures and what the founders of the Pentecostal movement believed and practiced. Satan would not be calling for maintaining those things. He would be for compromise, like you.

  • @sensibleadult You hate black people, don't you?

  • @larrisajackson No, I surely don't. But I do hate hip-hop and rap. It comes straight from the pit of hell. It has no place in the church.

  • No need to ask me for my references. Look all 3 of them up. You'll find source after source after source after source that these things (bluegrass music, country music, neckties) have no holy origin, and are of the world.

  • @LocoVeggie You can twist and turn and slither and spin your arguments any way you want; the fact remains that none of the things you mention are bringing in ungodliness and homosexuality into the church. There is an unmistakable in-your-face attitude that comes with hip-hop music. It has an innate hostility toward God and authority, and a pompous disdain for anything deemed to be "old-fashioned", such as old time holiness.

  • @sensibleadult No slithering. I've mentioned 3 things that have nothing to do with Christianity, or holiness, that you find nearly every time in U.S. UPC churches. Perhaps you could defend each one of them: a) elements of bluegrass music in UPC churches, b) elements of country music in UPC churches, 3) neckties being worn in UPC churches.

  • Country music was originally secular, yet many "old-time" oneness-holiness Pentecostals use elements of it in their songs of praise and worship. In fact, the New Testament does not mention the use of music or musical instruments in worship, at all. It does mention singing, but not music. Why would elements of some secular forms of music (like bluegrass & country) be acceptable, but others would not?

  • Is there a prize for being Pentecostal the longest? I wasn't aware it was a contest. haha I would sure hope the longer we live the more we love and portray Christ's love more and more. When we do that and be full of his spirit, those sins can try to enter but they won't be able to prosper.

  • (continued) his word will not return void. Be blessed!!

  • I think it's safe to say these posts have enlightened some and caused others to cringe in embarrassment. I will return us all back to the reason we ended up here..this song. We are doing this song tonight at our youth service as we reach out to the harvest God has promised us. I pray it has as much of an impact on them as it did on me and our entire church and pastor two weeks ago when we sang it, and of course here in this clip too. Thankfully God is no respecter of persons..his word will not

  • @iampntcostl Nothing cause me to cringe more than the trash worldly pop culture music that has invaded our churches. It is a Trojan horse that is ushering in ALL kinds of spirits, including homosexuality.

  • @sensibleadult is your username accurate?

  • @iampntcostl Yes, it is 100% accurate. And I was Pentecostal before you were ever born. So you don't have first dibs on that, either. The hip-hop music has got to go.

  • @sensibleadult Bluegrass music was originally secular ("of the world"), yet I see it used all the time by "old-time" oneness-holiness Pentecostals.

  • @sensibleadult The following things come from the world, and have no holy origin: bluegrass music, country music, neckties (originated with murderous Croatian mercenaries, then became a fashion craze in France; purpose: 100% adornment)

  • @locoveggie while I'm thankful you're willing to embrace this music and other changes I don't believe your summation is accurate as to the whys, but don't wish to further cause issues for the casual person who finds this clip. As long as we all keep Christ at the center of our lives and do our best to live for him, and Love others we are good. I managed to keep all my posts non-specific as to organizations or groups of people because it's irrelevant to this clip. The song is anointed. It wasn't

  • @iampntcostl Locoveggie had it EXACTLY RIGHT as to the motivation behind hip-hop queer influenced music coming into the church, and is a perfect example of what happens when the walls of separation are destroyed. The result is you can't tell the church from the world or the world from the church. That is precisely what the word of God warns against. You CANNOT reach the world by becoming like them. You are deceiving yourself.

  • The words really are beautiful! They show longing for more of God! They request that he set a fire in the soul. So, with those beautiful words, and a few elements borrowed from rock and pop (such as the way the drums and guitar are being played), it will be a WONDERFUL mix that will draw more of the younger crowd. Once you finish singing, please preach Acts 2:38!

  • For the record! The Mangun's are one of the perfect examples in Pentecost of Holiness living! That's why the church is unitified and anointed! I know I've been! I commend them for their service there in Alexandra, La.

  • Cont. it's worth it all!! But all these other commends that is being put on here isn't lifting up the Name of Jesus. That my friends can cause a stumbling block for them to get that closer experience with God! WE are to be stepping stones helping them to the cross not stumbling blocks! If its not lifting up the Name above All Names then lets keep our comments to ourselves!! Thanx

  • My comment isn't about picking out the wrongs! I've been brought up in this BEAUTIFUL truth all my life! There are ppl that watches these clips that doesn't have that fully relationship of this anointed, powerful, and life changing truth of Acts 2:38 experience. And if they can be blessed by these clips and it draws them to one of our UPC, ALJC, or any other Jesus Name churches.

  • In the old days, the UPC didn't allow TVs, going to cinemas, mixed bathing, celebrating Halloween, wearing wedding rings, wearing shorts, going to non-church sporting events, etc., etc., etc. Now I see many UPC people (well, at least when I visit SW Louisiana and SE Texas) doing these things. It's okay, because these things aren't wrong.

  • @LocoVeggie The first part of your username is appropriate. You are the perfect example of what happens when the church loses its Biblically mandated separation from the world. However, there are still a lot of us who are not deceived by your claptrap.

  • Seriously Pentecostals are we going to debate and criticize anointing singing like this! It is truly ANOINTED singing! yes this Is YouTube clips of BOTT but there are alot of different ppl looking at these clips. And to see all this garbage about rather the skirt is long enough or the music is to pop culture done need to be discussed on here!! We as The People of the NAME aren't setting a good example on here! Mainly if just ONE person watches this that doesnt have truth that blessed by it but

  • @2knowtruth Exactly!! UPC people shouldn't be arguing about these things! Just accept that major changes happen with each generation, in religions, governments, and societies in general.

  • @sensibleadult perhaps vomiting is good for your soul at this point. The bible talks about being purged. :) Thanks @kilben10 I agree. The song is amazing.

  • By the way, this song is amazing. Such beautiful lyrics. Such a beautiful message. Beautiful prayer.

  • Comment removed

  • @sensibleadult even if @iampntcostl is the problem what kind of Christ-like man would call him so? Get off your self-righteous high horse.

  • @KilBen10 The kind that has a brain. You get down off of YOUR judgmental horse.

  • @sensibleadult no good sir. YOU are the problem with Christianity.

  • No offense but as an Apostolic Man, I dont want to see that much leg on the women of the platform. Wassup with that? Skirt barely hits the knee. On a more positive note, I'm kinda feeling this song.

  • @ThePopeOfPentecost what does legs of a woman on a platform have to do with enjoying the presence of God and anointing. This song was and is anointed. We sang it at our church last week and had the same response. Beautiful presence of the almighty God.

  • @iampntcostl For me as a guy, to much leg being shown on the platform is distracting from the worship experience. If a church stands for modesty, the fruit and attributes of modesty should be displayed in leadership. If any one of those girls sat down, you'd be able to see their knees (and probably more). But hey, Im just an apostolic trying to make heaven without having to see flesh on parade on my own local assembly. No debate so please no resonses. Lets more on.

  • @lightskinbruh i'm not going to debate because debate is fruitless. Thanks for your response. I'd say if there are issues with bro mangun's wife's dress that you take it up with them. :) You have to admit though, this song is powerful. If you don't sing it at your church, you should. it's very anointed! blessings. :)

  • @ThePopeOfPentecost I know...she is showing a lot of skin!

  • As a lifelong Pentecostal, this kind of music leaves me cold.

  • @sensibleadult Then you might want to get renewed and refreshed so that the spirit that is within you can burn again. Jeremiah said it's like fire shut up in my bones.. remember that one from the mississippi mass choir with rev james moore..my my my :)

  • @iampntcostl I am sick of what has happened to Pentecostal music. It reeks of modern pop culture. It doesn't have the same pure, washed-in-the-blood feeling it used to have. A lot of it is hype. It nauseates me.

  • @sensibleadult then write your own. :)

  • @iampntcostl I am tired of pop culture invading our churches. You can flippantly say,"write your own", but that doesn't nullify the damage that is being done.

  • Comment removed

  • @iampntcostl That's like saying, "If you don't like breathing pollution, create your own air". There are a lot of folks that feel like I do that are not musicians and songwriters, and even if we did write a song, the hip-hoppers in charge of the music wouldn't use it.

  • @sensibleadult not quite but it's cool. some people like to complain to complain, others like to be a part of the solution. i choose to look at things and see what i can do to remedy the situation. You can complain all you want to your hearts desire. :) Oh and by the way, air is essential to breathing ie life..listening to music isn't. You can choose not to listen, but you can't choose not to breathe.. well and live that is. haha

  • @sensibleadult oh and God can and does use all people for many different purposes..yes, even the hip-hoppers as you like to call them. :) of course they have to acknowledge he is Lord and all the other stuff, which isn't what this post originated about. Did i mention how awesome this song is.. "there's no place i'd rather be then here in your love..set a fire down in my soul that i can't contain that i can't control, I want more of you God".. just love love love this song.. YES!!!!

  • @iampntcostl You are part of the problem.

  • @sensibleadult Many see Christians as the problem, but we know we are the solution to a dying world. :) So yes i'm a JESUS lover. Did i mention how much i love this song? haha i probbably did. I found another two songs that go well with this one for all the people who come to listen. Tag "I want to know you" by Jesus Culture and then "I Found a Love" by Bethel. I'm calling it the Love Medley. Awesome!!!

  • @iampntcostl No, the problem is your disgusting look-like-the-world-act-like-the-world music coming into the church. I listened to your songs. It made me want to vomit.

  • @sensibleadult They have to make it sound more like "the world," so that it can attract the non-Pentecostals! This is the type of music that draws them. Mega churches were built when they got rid of the hymnals and put up the big screens. Change happens.

  • Comment removed

  • @sensibleadult Maybe just have small meetings in your home, with others, who like the music that the UPC used to use (in those brown and white hymnals, with "My Thanks to Him," being the first hymn). In the churches, they need to have this type of music Yes it borrows a lot from rock and pop culture, but that's what will draw the newer generations to the churches.
