  • This is rare you realize, this don't u?

This are actually rehearsals as well as the bonus video on the plug me in

dvd. I've got the rehearsals and the both vids are in it.

  • listen IRIS.......it's from roumania....

  • This is the best Brian's ever done with Bon's songs.

  • Like 'cocaine', some of the best songs ever were about drug abuse....

This is incredible live music... Rare!

  • Never see the bass player much?????????

  • Awesome to watch this.

  • That's the first time I hear Brian sings this piece - just perfect.

  • THIS IS THE BEST SONG I EVER HEARD

  • One of my all time favorite songs by these guys..

  • This is a song for true fans of AC/DC. An all-time classic.

  • i always knew that they had a song called gone dhootin because i have a guitar tab book tahat has it in it but i never heard the song untill i watched bevis and butthead do america lol

  • good :D!

  • They got evrything that make them the best!!!

  • I just say AC/DC are gods of ROCK 'n' ROLL

  • At 2:19 is that an ear piece?

What do they do, listen in to the mix board??

  • @1776vtgmb he always has it, so he can hear himself better

  • side B classic, even though this is about iv drug use, the bluse track rythem and melody with Angus's guitar riffs rock this song! love it!

  • I can't believe how some directors result to be such STUPID as the one directing this recordings.. I mean, he completely ignored Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd was left aside during the whole jam! Man, Phil+Cliff is what makes AC/DC "hard as a rock"! They can't do that to them.. btw, that song should be renamed to "hard as AC/DC" hehe :P.

Love this version of Gone Shootin', I LOVE the way brian enjoys it and dances and air guitars to Angus.. he rocks!!

  • this is my favorite version of the gone shootin track. you cannot fit a more groovey appropriate solo to it. i love it.

  • Maybe greatest ac\dc song of alltime. Greatest groove in the world, also love the old Live versions bootlegs from 70's. The tone is awesome and angus is at his best in the solo's.

    Chuck\faaradar

  • this is acdc at its best form. bluesy, jamming, having a good time. all trashy and i love it. this is the greatest band ever

  • its ALTERING CURRENT FUCKING DIRRECT CURRENT NOT ALL OTHER SHITS!!!

  • Freakin ACDC at their finest...Love it...

  • THIS KICKS ASS.....

  • Bon Scott Forever!!

  • The bassline in this song is awesome.. at 02:40

  • damn right!

  • so damn groovy

  • powerage is underrated..as far as the radio goes, the only songs ive heard on the radio from powerage is sin city, and gone shooting.

back in black is overplayed on the radio. and you shook me all night long..wich is a good tune..is waaay overplayed.

hard rock radio needs to play whats next to the moon..or other deep cuts

  • from their most underrated album

great vid thanks for the post

  • i think their underrated album is fly on the wall they never said again anything about the album after its tour and ass we can see they played a lot of the songs from powerage at the VH1 and there are a lot of songs in the if you want blood

  • fly on the wall is a great album

  • @paulyseed hell yeahhh I love it, specially the song "Playing With Girls"

  • Actually, Bon just killed this... there are some Bon songs that I think Brian does better but Gone Shootin was done so well on the album.

  • i actually like brian's version better he just has an amazing blues voice

  • How they still manage to blast as hard after almost forty years is beyond me. AC/DC!!!

  • Hi and Please Let me Thank-you for posting this Great Clip from AC/DC's,"Plug Me In".Brian Johnston Lays a Great Vocal..he gives this a different edge to Bon's Great Vocal on The Powerage Album...Did I mention The Great playing By Angus,Malcolm,Cliff and Phil...Thanks.

  • I think the powerage is not underated, for me is the best one, raw AC/DC simple and straight forwards.

  • you're right

  • feel the pression rise.... ;-D

  • From the most underated album. My favorite one.

  • love the song love the band love the world that's rock n'roll man yeaaaaaaah

  • bluesy rock and roll

  • i love malcolms tone it's awesome. the Gretsch sounds great ;) always has xD

  • I love how Brian dances starting at one minute and thirty-seven seconds. Bon would have done that better than anybody, though.

  • FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ACDC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dont you guys hear how fast slade played all the ac/dc tunes, yes hes a good drummer, but im glad phil is back, Simon was a better second fit

  • yeh i like phil the best because i thought slade was good but he didnt have that ACDC feel

  • I agree with you. Slade did play a bit fast. Like Angus said "Slade was the best musician in AC/DC." I dont think that that was a slam on him, but just that AC/DC are loose and dirty musicians. There just isnt any replacing Phill Rudd, possibly the best rock-n-roll drummer ever. I play drums, and playing AC/DC songs are harder than most people would think. Malcolm, Cliff and Phil just cant be beat as a rhythm section.

  • So true Slade was more of a Heavy drummer, and Phill is a true Rock N Roll drummer especially the way he plays and hits the snare drum and really just controlls the whole rhythm of the band

  • yeah! I think Phil is groovier, and Slade is more of a metaldrummer.

  • no way...mal and cliff couldnt keep up with simon

  • amo esta contudencia de la bateria y el bajo, por no hablar de los mejores punteados del rock, amo acdc!!!

  • proper foot-tapping, head-nodding material.

    AC/DC rock the world!

  • nobody rocks like acdc..best band in the world ..still can't believe i'm goin rockin out with them ..16th april .02 arena ...rock on people !!!

  • Comment removed

  • fuck what a performance by brian!!!!! one of he's best in my opinion, they should perform this song live more oftern....

  • This is rock n roll. every other band stinks. favorite acdc song yet

  • As far as bluesy rock songs are concerned this is one of the best....CLASSIC!!!

  • saw those guys last night. best show ive been to, and im comparing to priest, motorhead, megadeth, heaven and hell, deep purple, and a couple others. ac/dc blew them away

  • Brian's voice suits this song so well.

  • That my friends is a fu***ng rock and roll song!

In my top 10 favs. Never heard Brian sing it before, so this was awesome!

  • Funkiest AC/DC riff ever - and there's stiff competition. Great version.

  • simple as riff and song these fullas make it sound mean.

  • Chris Slade was one of the best drummers in the world, he just didn't suite AC/DC's style of music.

  • Oh Wow!! Brian's voice fits in well with this song!!..an overlooked Bon Scott-era song!!

  • Phill Rudd is the unmistakeable back beat of AC DC.

  • Chris Slade is an ok drummer who sucked playing for ac dc, all songs sound rushed, Phill Rudd #1 and dumn ass simon wright quit to join Dio, was a close second.

  • slade sucks on thunderstruck? i dont think so...

  • well said.

  • for some reason I've listened to this song for YEARS without even listening to the lyrics. The guitar riff just satisfies me somehow. One day,one day I'll actually listen to the lyrics,I'm sure they are great considering they're a Bon Scott song...

  • This performance is fucking epic!!

  • omg i cant get enough of this song!

  • phil rudd fits a whole lot better. goone shootin is one of my favorite riffs

  • This clip shows AC/DC in their element, if you dont appreciate the groove thats powered out by these guys then, i feel sorry for you, it`s your loss, Angus & Malcolm`s style are so unique, the best riff maker`s in rock history....

  • Rudd's playing is in a class by itself. His groove is SO in the pocket. He's laid back and yet is totally on top of the beat. I met him on the BIB tour and threw all these technical drum questions at him, trying to figure out 'HOW' he did it. Like "Did you study with anyone?" He laughed. "Study? Are you kidding? I play this this way because its all I know how to do." No one out there like Phil, and nobody AC/DC had in his place even came close for FEEL, which is what MAKES AC/DC what they are.

  • FUCK YEAH!

  • wow brian sings well to this song!

  • Powerage was their best album ever

  • I agree. Excellent mixture of groove of Gone Shooting and Gimme a Bullet, pure power of Riff Raff and best guitar solos that AC/DC has ever recorded.

  • where would i get the full vh1 dvd? been looking for a long time..

  • acdc rocks!!!!!!!!!!

  • PHIL RULES

  • awesome job by brian johnson awesome song rip bon scott

  • do can you listen to a song ike this and not sit still?!? awesome song!!

  • WOW!! I've never even heard this song before, it flat out ROCKS!!

When it comes to straight in your face pure rock and roll, There's no one better than AC DC, some just as good (Foghat and Mother's Finest Comes to mind) but none better!

Name a current band these days that rocks like this, I'm serious I want someone to name one current band that rocks as hard as AC DC!

  • in my opinion chris slade was the best drummer that played with ac/dc

but phil rudd has got the sound that ac/dc neends!!!

btw the best song of powerage and the best version!!!

  • close but no cigar kiddo, Kicked in the teeth again is the best track on `DC`s best album.

  • Kicked in the Teeth rocks harder for sure, but I think Gone Shootin' has a better groove.

  • Chris Slade was the best musician that ever played in AC/DC and they'll tell you that, but you're right about Rudd.

  • shut the fuck up you imbecile!

  • This from a guy named Mickey Moose. Apparently you've never played an instrument before. My comment about C. Slade being the best musician in the band was almost a direct quote fom Angus Young when they decided to bring Phil back in the band. So, I guess Angus is an imbecile also, huh? I see fuckwads are everywhere, not just here in the states.

  • Apart from my username mr "da324" ? lovely name? Chris Slade is an average drummer that didnt really have alot of work in ACDC, Rudd is perfect for the band and has a much more fitting and involving style of playing than any of the others... Angus and malcolm are the real genius's in the band...Slade doesnt have a look in!

  • I agree with you about Phil Rudd, Angus, and Malcolm. I'm just stating what Angus has said many times after they let Slade go when Phil decided to rejoin the band. I do however, disagree that Chris Slade is average. If he's good enough to play with Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers, AC/DC etc.. that hardly makes him average, unless, you think those people he has played with are average.

  • I'm gonna have to jump in here and say that Chris Slade DID have a part in one of AC/DC's greatest albums coming out of the Johnson Era (The Razor's Edge). But with that set aside, they're both great drummers. Just Chris could continue the work Phil had begun.

  • brian is cool....but not the voice is that bon provided... ...never the same with out him...

  • i think brian has got it better

  • Wow! what a great version.

  • In my opinion Phil's "Simple" drumming goes over any other drummer....his Rock N'Roll beat drives me all over the place...Impossible to describe how kickass...!

  • ha Phil Rudd hasn't changed a bit

  • do u have the other version of Gone Shootin.. the one from the Uncut dvd?? imo the intro on that one is wayyy better.. it would be awesome if u could post it :)

  • sorry, I post what I have. This was from Plug me In. The VH1 dvd that I have didnt include this song. If I find it, I'll post it :)

  • @AlHouseProductions Where can you find it?

  • @madhatter534 Eiether on the AC/DC album Powerage or a slightly different version on The Beavis And Butthead Moovie soundtrack.

  • in the early ages for phil, he was quite skiny now he's muscular

  • For me Highway to hell is the best Bon's album but Powerage it's very nice

  • bon god bless miss dearly........rest my friend thanks for your talent

  • I love this song! And whole Powerage album! Powerage is Bon's best album!

  • I'll edit that...AC/DC's best album.

Back in Black is a close second in my books, Highway coming in 3rd, with Flick of The Switch and High Voltage coming after that.

  • let there be rock is #2, then BIB...imho

  • is this in the ''plug me in'' dvd?

  • i cant put into words how dc make me feel''but if you seen the size of my smile whilst watching this you would know

  • best song ever!! of all time!!! Brian even does a good job with it

  • brian does a good job with ALL acdc songs

  • most, yes.. but he doesn't do a great job with some of Bon's songs

  • This song makes me wanna rock out to this song. so im gonna go do that.

  • rock on man, rock on

  • This song is very cool, and I love to hear this song singed by Brian and with better equipment than '70s.

  • I tap the foot when I hear this, it's so good !

  • One of their best songs :-)

  • "Plug Me In" fucking rules

  • yeah it does.... did u see the bonus footage on disc 2 of angus and mal playing with the Stones? now THATS awesome

  • ACDC 4-ever

  • brian does a great job with this one
