Quake shakes Bay area !

The vertical blinds and lights started swaying and my computer monitor started rocking back and forth lol I typed an msn im the whole duration while my mother yelled "its a big one!" from the living room. (San Mateo)

I remember this quake, I was over my aunts house for dinner and we were sitting around the table when stuff started to shake softly at first like a truck was going by and then the entire house shook even more with a strong jolt.

it was hard to stand during it. Within the first three seconds you could hear rumbling and crashes through out the house

Felt the 4.1 brief magnitude quake in the bay area on 01/07/2010. I was right in my living room when I heard a slight noise like that of a plane or a truck. Felt some sort of small vibrations and thought that was a truck parked outside. Then the vibrations became stronger and felt the ground shook violently only once, that's when I realized it was a quake. at the same time I saw the ceiling jumping a little bit and the walls were making craking noises. it stopped all of a sudden.
