Sharon is the responsible adult, Caroline is the rambunctious partier, Andrea is the mysterious charming one, and Jim is the one who says "what the hell... let's do it! Put them together and they make musical magic.
The opening voilin riff is something you will always remember. Simply awesome, enuff to leave a lump in my throat! Just beautiful. And for Andrea, what a pocket rocket minx I've ever seen one!!! So cute and squeezy.....
It stopped halfway through when i tried to watch it too. It does start with the carraroe jig which is on the Corrs' first album "Forgiven Not Forgotten". They're not trying to pass it off as their own, they know it's traditional irish music. They just like it.
In traditional Irish music, it is typical to play two or three compatible tunes (such as jigs or reels) together as a set. Here it's the Carraroe Jig and a tune commonly known as Morrison's Jig played back to back (don't know where the names Joy of Life or Trout in a Bath came from). They have been around for generations, if not centuries, and are not Corrs' originals.

i know that... but this version is different to the album version... i am aware of the different tunes being played as i can play both of them on tinwhistle
Amazing. I played that music on my violin at the school, and they loved.

Did you noticed that Caroline increased the rate of the beat at 1:32... See Sharon's response at 1:36, at 3:34, and at 3:43!

Almost as good as the Lansdowne Road perfomance.

I agree the only thing lacking is the 40,000 people at Landsdowne Road and all that energy.
