@poolplayinghack Did you learn all this misinformation at your regionally accredited university? If so, you're really making a good case for FS. I attend both FS and VCC, and haven't had problems with credits. Full Sail is a TRADE SCHOOL, which is why they are nationally accredited by the ACCSC, which is recognized by the United States Department of Education, which is why they are eligible for federal financial aid programs. If you've never been to FS, please kindly stfu.
@lamoraluz duh! why else would i go, doofus!? for top quality education? employment opportunities and top flight service? what are you? some kind of stupid!?
I went to a orientation for this school back in 2005 and it was full of fog machines, laser lights, intense music and than the dean jumps out and talks about making your dreams come true...but I decided to go to Rutgers instead and I didn't get a fog machine laser light show for orientation there!!! :[
This school is a complete rip off. A few friends of mine went here. One for film, one for game design and another for computer programming i think. They all did great. The one who went for film is now taking pictures of cosplay and owes the school over 100,000 dollars. With the job he received from his "education" at full sail, he'll never repay that money back. Don't come here unless you already have experience in what you are going to get a degree in and have connections.
For Profit means they are about SELLING, not educating. Hence, the recruitors and 'advisors' are nothing but commission paid salesmen. They will admit anyone who can sign their name for billing and Pell Grant purposes. WARNING WARNING SCAM AHEAD!
Good Luck to the people who couldn't cut it, i hope by now you realize that your never going to make it. But.....you can still pick up my trash or give me a parking ticket lol. Your dreams were never your goals or ambitions they were just your fantasies. Must have watched to many movies and thought, hey i could do that, until reality smacked you in the face. So stay in wal-mart you might become manager one day lmao....
@dobunz wow, someone is pissed, what would you rather have people do? Dream about becoming a cog in the machine and never express their artistic side? Let imagination die and replace it with mediocrity?
I -love- this school. Currently in my 14th month in the film program. Don't believe the bullshit scam stuff. Thats just from previous students who were expecting a run of the mill university.
Its an EXPENSIVE ACCELERATED SCHOOL! If you love the craft you're going for, go here. It'll be perfect for you. If you're still iffy on it, stay away. Its that simple.
@abcz98 Not brainwashed. I just asked around and actually looked into my choice of school before giving them money.
Maybe you just got stuck with a shit class? Full Sail is -not- a party school. Though my class has had many of these fabled full sail parties. Plus, UCF is right down the street if you really want to cut loose, just slip in.
If you love what you do and fullsail has that, then FullSail is a kickass school, unless you're a dumbass who misreads "Accelerated degree" as "4 days a week"

Somebody help me out. What's so bad about this school? UNO was a joke to me and they're ranked in the top 5 schools for film. When I get my degree I don't plan on working for no one but myself. I want to produce my own works. So what's the 411 on Full Sail?
Full Sail is a complete joke! I graduated from the Comp. Animation program back in 2002 and I'm now working at Wal-Mart now as a cashier! Not to mention the $40,000+ in loans I get to pay off now (glad I didn't go for the Bachelor's). I swear, Full Sail's recruiters are even worse than the ones employed by the military. Trust me, just go to an accredited college like UCF or UF and you'll save yourself a HUGE headache. In fact, UCF is 10x better than FULL SH*T (my nickname for the school).
I have a friend who "graduated" with a "Bachelor's Degree" from this "school." He's not very smart, he didn't do too well in high school and he dropped out of community college. So, somehow he ends up with a "Bachelor's Degree" and he's very proud of it even though he can't even find work. All I remember was him talking about the parties he went to and the cocaine he sold while attending this "school." Then he tries to get masters degree at a real college; that didn't work out so well.
@SlickNcRaZy dude for one you have no clue what full sail is like for 2 theres no parties your to busy in class so right off the bat we know your lying lmao wow people are dumb
most regionally accredited colleges require the faculty to have masters and phds. check the education that their instructors have. there is a reason why this college is not accredited or recognized by other colleges and universities. do your research and find an accredited college that will teach you the same knowledge as full sail. my 2 cents
@chuxdaddy i was actually curious about what the requirements were to teach at full said. and almost every job listing I read required either a PHD or a Masters , and atleast 6 years of experience.

Do not listen to them, I will not hire anyone from FS, Valencia CC will not even recognize them as a school. Save your money, Go to a REAL Regionally accredited college.
@poolplayinghack oh yeah? well if you're so smart then how come you havent told me how else i can get a new mac book pro and programs and free technical assistance and 70,000 dollar loans without attending their school, huh!? let's hear you answer that wise guy because im going to full sail to attain my MAC BOOK~ what do u got? wise guy!
@poolplayinghack regionally accredited and nationally accredited are both schools. This is the first tine I have heard of this school, but I think your degree is as valuable as you make it. If it gets you that job or position you need the it is worth it. If you use it to spam youtube and destroy others dreams then it isn't worth much. I would point out most trade schools and community colleges are nationally accredited, but because this has to do with internet people want to debunk it. hmmmm

Do not try to become a recording engineer, or waste your time in anything remotely related to 'recording arts'. There are ZERO jobs. Not a single one. You will never, ever, ever be able to pay back your tuition, which at this place, is . . absurd. Recording arts = 100% un marketable skill.
@Robynasdf123 or you could stop bitching about how you cant get a job and create one. There is no point in going to school for that because you can learn it all on your own. You should have invested your money into opening your own studio and started a business. Thats what you should do, if its possible for yuou
i'm thinking about going to this school but also i'm taking recording arts in vocational school for 2 years. doing half time during my senior year and post high school

One of the best universities according to who... Full Sail?. To prove Full Sail is a scam just ask a military recruiter if a Full Sail bachelor's degree meets their requirements for officer candidate school like a degree from any state university does. They will laugh at you!
Dude you have been completely brain washed like crazy...the military is not the way to go for anything. they only say that will pay your tuition so that you will join. plus full sail isnt a scam, its highly accredited and it has more connections then a military computer.
plus the only that was a scam was that recruiter. so laugh at that
It's only nationally accredited, which means next to nothing. At least in regards to the recording arts, most studios are not concerned with a diploma. They want to see self-motivated people with the real-world experience necessary to survive in the industry. It likely does give students the opportunity to make some good connections, but that's nothing a person can't do on their own and it's not worth $80,000 in most cases.
the 'networking' is all they can say for themselves. $70k PLUS all living expenses like rent, bills, food etc later, it wasn't worth it. I'm in the last month of Music Business and they are saying things like, "What do you guys think when you think of risk?" like come on, that should prob be month 2. it's just a crock of sheeit. Recording Arts was all gear manuals and Music Biz was very elementary.
yeah right thats not true i searched it up it might cost a lil more or actually not alot from other colleges and university's but its one of the best university's
awesome man... i just came across this university today... it looks like an amazing place to study... i want to do web design... how much is the tuition? is it hard to get into? i wud luv to study here!
right now (got my pack today), tuition for web development is :
Bachelor of Science-Web Design & Development. Tuition: $67,775. Per Academic Year: $16,137. Per Credit Hour: $538. # of Credit Hours: 126.0.
Now it's an accelerated program so you finish fast. About 2X as fast as a normal program. You also get 6 more hours than needed. And you can go back to go and sit and listen in any class you previously took after you graduate....for free.
Tuition includes: all books, lab fees, parking permit, and materials. But you do have to pay for the Project LaunchBox. You'll have to call for specifics on how much that'll cost. It varies because different courses call for different things. But they're Apple MacBook Pro's with the exception of Game Development. Hope that helps!
sophomore in high school right now. one week and ill be a junior. haha. it'll be a while. i want to finish high school and probably go in august 2010. it looks so astounding now that i can't wait to see it then! it looks long and hard for the 21 months it takes to get a bachelor's degree though. 4 hour classes and such. but it'll be a very neat experience and very very interesting. plus they're mostly based on mac's. i was sold at that point. everything else just made it better!! ;)
oh!!! lol!!! im done wid high skl in a week! he he... will mostly b at full sail this august... me 2!!! im a total apple geek! he he... i have been coding websites etc. since 7th grade and also code java etc... looks like full sail is just the right place for me!
