So the first fight is RuPaul VS(Versuuuuueeeessss)Beetlejuice from the Howard Stern show...which is ironic since the second fight looks like Howard himself in the fartman costume against The Noid...Imagine being high while playing this...now Imagine the creators of this game NOT being high while making it...

this isn't a beat em up, it's a fighter, and anyone who knows videos games should know that, but oh well... to clearify for you, a fighter is a game like street fighter, or tekken, a beat em up is where you play as one person fighting against more than one on screen, such as final fight, or double dragon...
Especially in the 80's and 90's game mags in England would categorise fighting games usually as "beat 'em up" (or one on one beat 'em up) and "scrolling beat 'em up" (for Final Fight/Streets of Rage types).
However due to the internet over time the US terms and Englsh terms starting getting used together so at times it gets a little confusing xD
Nowadays "street brawler" is sometimes used at times for streets of Rage games too.
Every fight in this game is a grind, too. The first fight is an 8 foot tall woman brutalizing the Repo Man with punches, kicks, and fireballs to the dong for like 2 minutes a round until he turns into a bat and leaves.
Also, what's with the kicks in the 2nd fight?? Those are the kind of kicks you do after performing a really long, high-pitched hair metal guitar solo, not in a street fist fight! I will say, that blue dwarf can take a hell of a beating, though.
I guess the people who made the game were heroin addict rockers made this piece of shit. I get a kick out of seeing the Native American character turning into a black evil Grimice.

Except with more pointless and incredibly tiny text descriptions of the characters.
It's hilarious how detailed and small that text is next to the characters; it's like they held a different monitor up to a bigger one.
Also, lots of fantasy settings in this "Streets" game.

Horribly drawn sprites and sparse animation; it's a pity really, as the game's basic engine isn't half-bad.
