@animalluvr4798 i tell guys who don't understand that the cramps feel like extreme pressure in your intestines. also, add a constant headache, back cramps, unable to walk anywhere for a full day because your legs feel like they ran a 2-hour marathon, nausea, and chills. i'd punch a guy if he made some menstrual joke in front of me :P

I've been using ibuprofen because my pain would get so bad, I'd be throwing up and getting really hot randomly and shaking and then i'd get cold and lose weight really fast which i really didn't want to. And I'm only 17. I hate my period with a burning flaming passion.

@melissaaalynnn it's amazing how little things can change your mood during happy week. i always have to call my brother after school or he'll take forever getting to the car (walking the 5 miles home uphill is usually faster). he also has a bad habit of hanging up after he's said his part without hearing my important information that i have to give. he hung up on me during happy week and i was out for blood (not literally) but i plowed through everybody just to find him.

@melissaaalynnn haha. yeah. my dad's actually rather cool about it. until i started birth control for my cramps, he'd come into my room to wake me up for school and i'd want to stay in bed so much that i'd just growl a bit at him and he'd let me stay home for the day. also, he's more reliable for desperate store runs when i'm out of supplies. if i go to mom she just gives me some of her stuff (which i don't like. it's not as comfy) until she's ready to go out. dad just says "again?" and goes.

@karlanickita thanks for you reply, i got the allay patch and started taking evening primrose oil as recommended (everyday) then paracetamol when i get the periods and the pain became bearable.

@nahdy80 If paracetamol is not taking all the pain away, I recommend you taking Buscopan. When I have period pain I take it twice a day. It works really well and the pills are very small. :)
