hey, do you think you could explain to me how to make a well made ghillie suit and what you need to make one, i know you have a lot of experience making them and working with them so i was wondering if you could just help me to get started off. good hunting
There are so many different styles of ghillie; first you have to decide what it is to be used for? purely ambush or stalking. This dictates what size you should aim for. I recommend a smaller ghillie suit that covers shoulders and back combined with ahead piece based on a peaked cap.
An ambush ghillie covers the entire body but is bulky and builds up heat. It covers you from 360 degrees which is important in an ambush. The stalking ghillies are light weight and allow you to stalk (often upright) with minimal noise, yet freeze and blend into the background. or that is the idea anyway.
sometimes you have to use trees as cover. Espescially if the terrain has a large density of trees. What people forget about trees, is that they provide dead ground that completely obscures you from certain angles.
In this clip, the only angle Dodge could find to shoot from was next to a tree.
Do you guys wrap your guns in camo form tape?

I use the fabric gun tape. The camo form doesn't really stick. I have not used it so cannot comment.

how far could this gun shoot and what is the cost in us dollars in upgrades
rcfootball89 2 years ago
Furthest recorded hit was 112 yards, but was downhill. Effective range is more like 80 yards really. With all the upgrades it is $600+
