  • There's nothing like our bad acting and our terrible singing to, there's nothing like feeling embarrssed of this ad aimed at you.

  • Maybe leave out the music and singing and let our country speak for itself.

  • @Iluvbillkaulitz11210 He says 'it's not a bear.'

  • can someone tell me what the guy is saying when the girl holding the koala says: 'There's nothing like these bears'?

  • Australia- the only place where there is, in fact, NO GOD.

  • that's not a bear

  • Nothing like a great big empty desert with a great big red rock. Yeah, Australia is amazing. Haha, I'm just joking, I love you, Australia.

  • Whats with these dislikes? Do you people really not like it? :(

  • Theres nothing like these furry things that bounce around in herds! i always sing that

  • @theREALshafan

Mate, it's not the border that's the problem. Look at their last three leaders: Clinton-a fuck obsessed perv who's wife practically owns him; bush: a chimp in disguise; obama- thinks like a chimp, sounds like a chimp, smells like a chimp...A CHIMP, too!

You could send an army through Mexico and NOONE WOULD NOTICE

  • There's nothing like the giant ass fucking spiders Australia get.

  • @OtakuXCore like they said, there's NOTHING like Australia. btw mate, burn in hell, its not like your American poverty, or your millions of illegal immigrants are any better. You should also try to stop electing monkeys for leaders. these last 12 years have just been bugger, mate

  • @FearThyTaco I don't know what this conversation is about and it's rude to butt in, but just let me say as an American that I totally agree about the leader thing. They're a bunch of ass hats for sure. :)

  • @FearThyTaco

I'm pretty sure if we had a massive border with a developing (ie poor) country like mexico we'd have a shitload of illegals too.

  • @OtakuXCore Yo man you offended the guys spiders...

  • Hey all I did an edit of this Video I used the song Return to innocence by enigma. U GUYS TRY IT START FROM 001 LET THE SONG PLAY AND WATCH THIS VIDEO IT MATCHES OMG.

  • Is that just a jingle, or is that a real song they're singing .. very catchy! "This Happy Land"

  • @MrDavidj1994 Are you so stupid ? I'm french and i can clearly hear "It's beautiful" ...

  • @Slipknot666forum Hehe close but no, he says "this Billabong" :)

  • @Slipknot666forum Apparently you're stupid because the kid says billabong...

  • I LOVE it!

  • I used to go to Australia... Until I took an arrow to the knee.

  • where are they at 0:57?

  • THIS MAKES ME CRY!!!

  • Poor platypus...look at the grip she has on it!

  • @Sedrom... They pronounce just w/o their tounge

  • VOMIT (I'm Australian)

  • id go to australia... if they had BBC

  • @muhammadkhan24 ok first of all you're a racist bastard. Australia is one of the best places on earth. When I lived in Singapore I visited australia. One night I stayed in a cabin in the outback. The bathtub was outside and when I had my bath a herd of kangaroos jumped. It was insane. I also hugged a koala bear.

    GO AUSTRALIA

  • ACDC's home country.

  • I didn't think i would be attracted to a bird lady after seeing home alone but that lady at 00:45 drives me insane she's soooo cute!

  • The "birds" lady is cute as hell!

I hate how every other English-speaking country fails to pronounce the letter "R" in most of their words:

    "Beh" - (Bear)

    "Bed" - (Bird)

    "Hed" - (Herd)

    "Hee" - (Here)

    "The" - (There)

  • this has got to be the happiest commercial since cokes I'd like to teach the world to sing.

and it serves it purpose, I want to go...

(but in thisn economy I can ill afford to go)

    Sigh....one day!!!

  • new zealand is kind of like australia, not to mention australian culture is just a mix of european and american culture

  • Why is billabong such an inherently funny word?

  • seriously that is one of the most persuasive tv ad ever, because of that i might consider flying to Australia someday

  • Haha at 0:37 I was like, "is that a penguin in a tree? Wait, nevermind, its a kookaburra..." -////-

  • @muhammadkhan24 wow...that's abit extreme. It's poeple like you who have probably never even been to Australia, or spoken to an Australian.

You my friend are a racist idiot!

  • @muhammadkhan24 mind your language don't diss australia like that

  • @muhammadkhan24 i take it that youve never been, you racist dickwad. go fuck off. Australia is beautiful, Australians are wonderful people, and those "British mother fuckers" are just as wonderful. a lot more wonderful than you, that's for sure.

  • 0:20, the kid in the water, I can't make out what he's saying.

All I hear is "this paedophile" and since that's probably not it, can someone correct me please?

  • @MrDavidj1994 "this billabong"

  • @MrDavidj1994 hahahahaha !!!!!!! he said billabong

  • @MrDavidj1994 This "Billabong"

  • @MrDavidj1994 "this billabong"

  • @MrDavidj1994 This Billabong. But yes, it's coz he's aboriginal. They're a weird mob.

  • @MrDavidj1994 this billabong

  • @MrDavidj1994 I think it's "this fish" because its a whale shark and sharks are fish

  • @MrDavidj1994 LOL! He said billabong.

  • @MrDavidj1994 dude hes saying billabong

  • @MrDavidj1994 Kid in the water is saying "nothing like this Billabong"

  • @MrDavidj1994 He's saying "this billabong". Billabong is an Australian word for a small lake.

  • @MrDavidj1994 : He says: "this billabong" It's Oz slang for lake

  • 0:7 James May?

  • Been to Sydney and Cairns, AU and Australia is my favorite place on Earth!!!

  • Yea but Sydney isnt like that !

  • I love my country -3

  • This is great but I hate fucken telstra

  • ok, you got me. im going to australia.

  • "There's nothing like this bear"

    "It's not a bear"

  • @ShadowBladeAlchemist yes, that is what was said, why are you repeating it in the comments?

  • @Techlology Um... because I thought it was funny? Is there something wrong with that?

  • @ShadowBladeAlchemist That scene shows you how ferocious the fires we're down were i live...Victoria

  • @aviationnoitall Hun, I live in Victoria, too. I just thought that the way he said that added an air of humour to the commercial.

  • @ShadowBladeAlchemist That's the only reason I looked up this ad! Best line ever.

  • I have actually went to Melbourne and it was just great , but when i go to the great ocean road and also the 12 apostles it was just magnificent

  • australians are the hottest race

  • I LOVE YOU AUSTRALIA!!

  • @gayboyrunning the ellipses would be an indication that I am not a white american, I guess it's hard to convey sarcasm like that

  • @Tarateesh yeah... cause I'm a white american....

  • @Cancid haha proof there are still white n@zi loving americans still around.. I thought you's have gone extinct like the dino's did lolz xD

  • Can't wait to go!

  • Travelling to SouthAmerica, Colombia... recomended blog:

    paula.suntuubi.com

  • Damn, no black people in Australia, guess they still hate the Aborigines

  • @Cancid Very hypocritical for you to say that considering America enslaved blacks since the 1700's. And Australia is the most multicultural diverse country in the world. I could say 1000 things about your country but after reading your comment, i realised i would look like a fool and an unintelligent twat. Go post your negative comments elsewhere.

  • @Cancid Aboriginals feature before 19s. Due to the fact that their black colouration is caused by a gene that doesn't like to express with each new generation of caucasian interbreeding, there may be several more Aborignal people in this video. Aboriginals have different tribes, they aren't all "blacks," so think and look before you speak.PS not saying we all treat them as they should be. there are racists everywhere, they aren't all white either.

  • That platypus :D

  • new anthem?

  • @0:39 It's not a bear.

  • the best 6 month of my life... and i really wanna go back. especially after that song

  • I LOVE AUSTRALIA I AM SO PROUD TO BE AUSTRALIAN AND TO BE LIVING IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY

  • @Addsy84 My source is me, going to Northcote, Smith Street, Richmond, St Kilda or anywhere in Melbourne city centre and forking out AT LEAST $10 for a pint of Aussie rats piss. 10AUD = 6.48GBP. Love that you had to finish off your comment with a little flourish of tacit racism, you do your country proud! Ahh... Australia, the Big Land of the Little Englanders...

  • @thatgingerscouser $10 for a pint? gosh, you might have been in one of those ritzy joints that over charge on everything ? I pay $3.50 for a pint/$12 for a jug ona Friday night at the beer garden in Surfers Paradise.

I'm Australian, born and raised but I myself think Melbourne, Sydney and all the other capitals are played out....if you ever visit this way again, head more inland or further up the coast..it really is a beautiful country, as is scotland!

  • @Addsy84 Aye, that be me. I would be out experiencing Australia, but since it costs 7 pounds for a pint of cheap makes-your-poo-go-all-frothy Aussie lager here at the moment, I'm best staying indoors for the foreseeable future. Oh, by the way, Wellington has just jumped on the 'It's Like Nowhere Else On Earth!!' bandwagon. Further proof it means nothing!! The Fukushima nuclear plant is 'Like Nowhere Else On Earth!!' at the moment, doesn't mean I want to holiday there. Lazy hack advertising.

  • So true !!!!!!!!!!! I miss down under !

  • FAIL. i live in sydney and that is such a fail in trying to represent our country

  • Good O!! Great commercial. Iv been to Oz twice, and this ad makes me realize how much I miss it there.

  • ... what the hell???

  • Love this commercial...I sing along everytime it plays on tv.

  • kinda cheesey, FUNNY, and omg i really wanna go there now!!! :)

  • I dont get what the fuss is about Ayers rock, it's just a big rock. Why fly for hours to go visit a rock????? lol

  • @nastyphoenix are you joking? it is a sacred rock. it is beautiful. i have been and i cant say ive seen anything like it.

  • @nastyphoenix who says you have to fly? me and my family drove and it was an amazing experience. So much history and culture and the landscapes out there are unreal!!!

  • @nastyphoenix Uluru, It's called Uluru.

  • i love this video the guys reaction "its not a bear"

  • Jordymate should try getting out of bed before mid day and he could see all of it.

  • This reminds me of that Discovery Channel commercial from back in 2008. It was cool like this one

  • Damn I love Australia ("") ("")

  • half of this shit doesn't even happen..

  • @jordymate420 No duh, it's a commercial of the whole country singing togeather. But if you want to be a smart ass then actually 99% of this "shit" doesn't happen.

  • @jordymate420 Actually it does. You must not get out very often? I'm Australian and I decided to go around the country and see it for myself and there is ALOT every one is missing out on. Seeing it on pictures is nothing like real life. You should consider exploring Australia :) Then this "shit" will happen.

  • Proud to be Australian :)

  • "thats not a bear" hahaha!

  • i say this on tv the other not and i LOVE it.

thank god i'm actually visiting australia soon. (:

  • I thought the guy at 0:06 was Hugh Jackman at first.

  • This has been stuck in my head all day. Looks like a need to head to Australia.

  • I was there in July for 21 days ANd I want 2 go back there is truly nothing like it

  • We are on our way, for the third time, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE, AUSTRALIA, and There are nothing like Australians, lovely people,

  • hoping to land a job in Aus next year. I hope I get to meet that 'bear' expert

  • Still, could do with Lara Bingle on the beach.

  • Working and travelling in Australia is such an experience! visit our page to check out how you can get a guaranteed job and travel for free to Australia

  • There's nothing like having a Grand Piano at every sand filled beach.

  • @glojuice Wow... your logic is impressively pathetic.

  • the blond in :22 is freaking cute

  • 00:23 the guy with the ear plugs in the ears that's me. the girl is my girlfriend

  • There's nothing like winning the Ashes in Australia <3

  • aww I miss australia I wanna go back!

  • @Ech0666 2nd that

  • Well we like it. There is nothing like being an Australian!

You can take photos of anything except at the beach(trying to stop pedophiles taking photos of your children), and you can call our priminister a dickhead on TV and not get arrested.

  • I hope that youtube can stop being a place for mindless venting and obscure comments about racism. Keep your negitive opinions to yourself! Honestly get a life! Australia is a wonderful country, so stop being such a badmouth and find something more productive to do! Especially considering it has just been Australia Day!

  • @SYRCgowe you r so right

  • @SYRCgowe freedom of speech

  • AUSTRALIAN VISA REGS:

    Who requires a Visa?

You will require a visa to enter into Australia unless you are a New Zealand passport holder or you are continuing your journey within 8 hours of arrival, hold a valid onward ticket and you are not leaving the transit lounge.

    Please note that:

All Australian Visas have to be obtained prior to departure. You will not be able to board your aircraft without a valid visa/ETA and passports/travel documents.

That'll be $29, please. END OF.

  • @TheShadowChesireCat

    1. WRONG! It's $29 (and it lasts 3 months): immi.gov.au

    2. WRONG! It IS Oz's 'fault'. You should be very proud of the fact! It is, however, not good for tourists travelling on US$s etc.

    3. WRONG! I have crossed 186 international borders and been to Oz 7 times. Oz guards are unwelcoming, rude and condescending. It's a nicer experience to cross the border into Iraq.

    4. I hope that is in response to my fact that Aussies are (painfully) racist. Yes, yes they are.

  • @thatgingerscouser hahahaha....you are so sad. that is all.

  • Australia is one of those places that everyone should visit before you die!

  • Dunno, I'm a Yank and to be honest this kinda does make me want to visit. Looks like a beautiful country with friendly people who don't take things too seriously, particularly singing. And besides, Crocodile Dundee is a hero.

  • Oh, and before I get the typical knee-jerk arse-in-head Aussie reaction to my comment below, I'm IN Australia at the moment. My point is that if you're trying to appeal to Europeans like myself to visit your (admittedly beautiful) country, THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO GO ABOUT IT.

Then again, aside from the Baz Luhrman ad, Aussie ad campaigns have traditionally been bloody awful. 'Come and say G'Day'???? 'Where the bloody hell are you'???

    Jesus wept.

And YES I could do better. MUCH better.

  • @thatgingerscouser I don't know why you bothered to come on and complain about tourism ads. You could actually be out experiencing the country.

Besides, if you can't obviously tell, it's aimed towards more towards Americans. Go work in the tourism industry for a few years, then come back and we'll see if you can whinge them then. It's actually quite nice in its simplicity compared to other tourism campaigns you see.

  • @TheShadowChesireCat This ad is on TV in the UK. My attention was drawn to it by a female friend of mine from the UK who has been to Oz (and loved the place) but found the ad appalling. I work in the travel and TV industry which is why I find this ad so offensive- there's no substance, no intrigue, no depth to it. Change the end title and it could be an ad for Australian sausages. A great country reduced to a tacky marketing jingle that may have worked for Coke in 1973. Awful. 0/10.

  • OH DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP.

Australia is the ONLY westernised country to demands visas from Europeans.

The Australian economy is so strong at the mo, it costs a UK fiver for a BOTTLE of beer.

Australia has the nastiest border guards IN THE WORLD.

Australians are a bunch of racist f--ks.

Australia takes a good 20 hours to get to from Europe.

AUSTRALIAN TOURISM NEEDS ALL THE HELP IT CAN GET. WHAT ON EARTH ARE THEY THINKING WITH THIS SELF-CONGRATULATORY TOSH?

    IDIOTS. YOU'RE NOT SELLING CHIPS.

  • @thatgingerscouser Actually, you're wrong. And awfully rude.To disprove your silly little complaints, here are some facts:

    1. We, like the USA and UK, have no visas for tourists staying up to 30 days for tourism purposes (but not people on working holidays. Like ALL other Western countries, you need a visa for that).

    2. Not our fault our economy is not in decline.

    3. You must have been a jerk to them. They are actually very professional.

    4. A duuuuuuh. Seems you can actually remember a fact.

  • Thats not a bear

  • Great videos

  • There's nothing left of Australia. :/

  • This bit' a bong?

Also "there's nothing like Australia"? Not really much of a statement as the same can be said for nearly every country.

  • Jesus, ever heard of the crisis in Brisbane...

  • With the dollar at $1.02US, an ad campaign that feels like it was created in 1974 and, from the look of the comments below, the imminent reintroduction of the White Australia Policy, it's probably no great surprise visitor numbers to Australia are plummeting...Clearly there are other places "like Australia". Discuss.

  • I LOVE IT! After watching this I really wanna visit Australia!

  • @kazim786 Come yere!!! We'll have a barbie ready for ya ;)

  • and this is the reason ou tossers are drowning!!!

  • @larsagi2008 You fucking weak cunt. After the floods have gone, your country is still being fucked in the arse by Islam.

  • @WesternSandgroper Oh shut up.

  • @captainpanic08 Go invent some more curry then whinge about your immigration problem you fucking backward fucks.

  • @WesternSandgroper I'm not much of a cook to be honest. And I and both my parents are British, we were born here, so we don't really have immigration problems. As for backward, well, I'd be inclined to say that bigots are the backward ones, so I suppose 'backward' is subjective.
