NB: I think the idea of looking for a headline performance in the performance of coaches is unfortunate. If you can get that anywhere and in any other discipline, well... To be quite honest, as a coach, you are always last on your list of students but it's always an honour to be allowed to step into your students world.
I just bought their book Total singing tutor and have read about 50 pages i must say its really good and they definitely know their stuff but this performance is so weak.. not a great advert are they? debstarcrazy is right that attempt at a riff on 2.42 made me laugh. these guys have done well so become so succesful. its inspired me to start my own vocal tuition company.

How they can sing like this and still promote themselves as vocal coaches is beyond me. Who is paying them to appear on all these high profile shows? I truly am shocked. As a paid voice teacher myself, I don't think they are giving thier profession any credit.

And Carrie and David are doing a new show for the BBC on Cbeebies called Carrie and David's popshop and I am going to watch it. Becasue I am a Carrie and David fan. I would love to meet them one day. they do know what they're talking about they are proffesional vocal coaches, and actually most people who have great talent aren't singing properly even if othe rpeople think they are,

Why has David Grant gone so crap...compare his early hits with Linx and then solo stuff. He has gone mad..surely? Met him a few years ago seems a lovely man, but boy! this is so lame. LOL
they're singing in american accents because of the song. If they were singing an english musical song, or at least one set in Europe you could hear their accents.
some american songs sound very wrong in an english accent, to the extent that a rhyming verse might not rhyme. to avoid all this they sing in american accents.
