Linka Awakening was the first, and only, Zelda game that I didn't want to beat. The idea of leaving Koholint forever and destroying all the good people there. Truely the most morally challenging Zelda game ever made.

This gave me the goosebumps! Link's Awakening is my favorite Zelda game, and I think it's one of the BEST Zelda ever, too bad it doesn't get the love it deserves!

Really, I like everything except the fact that the piano drowns out the flute, as @jotcc said.

In fact, I pretty much agree with her outright. And the brass section is pretty badass :D

This was one of my first Game Boy games and therefore one of my first games ever. I remember one day I left it in a pocket of my jeans and ruined the cartridge...but at that point the DX version had come out, so my mom went and bought me a replacement right away. At the time she had no idea how special that was to me, but recently she started playing Zelda games herself.

Anyway, now I'm replaying the game on my Android phone. Happy times!

It sounds nice. But as far as mastering is concerned, the paino really drowns out the flute when it does its arpeggios. Everything is coming from one direction. Too much of a delay on the piano makes it even louder.

Nice epic brass section at 1:20 though. I Thouroughly liked that bit.

Das erste mal, als ich Link's Awakening gespielt hab, hatte ich auch nichts verstanden, weil ich es damals auf englisch gespielt hatte. Ich kann mich damals noch genau daran erinnern wie schön ich die Musik im Spiel fand.

=) Ich denke die Musik in einem Spiel, spielt eine sehr große Rolle. Es ist meistens so bei mir, das die schönen alten Erinnerungen wieder wach werden nur wegen der Musik in einem Spiel das man, ich möchte fast sagen geliebt hat ^^.

Ich denke, das Link's Awakening wirklich einige Meisterwerke von Musik in sich birgt. Und genau dies macht dieses Spiel so besonders für mich =)
