  • I was under the impression, (at least from the Ryan Reynolds movie anyway.) that a chosen Green Lantern gets the oath from the battery. When Hal Jordan did that, it was like it just came to him.

  • i typed nort and this showed up lol

  • Cheat sheet #FTW !

  • Even Duck Dogers remembered the oath better.

  • @KyodaiKen1979 Duck Dogers oath is one is better

  • If the dang otah starts w/ a holiday should automatically let him know it the wrong one right away. that was funny.

  • This is so funny.

  • Actually, I think I like G'nort better than John Stewart.

  • @pyrogyra72 EVERYONE is better than john stewart.

  • Oh come on G'nort, your making the Green Lantern Duck Dogers look good.

  • best oath ever

  • Okay, a Green Lantern that doesn't know the oath, definitely something wrong with that. Makes you wonder how he even managed to become a Green Lantern. I can say the the entire oath without even thinking.

  • @futboyz Well to become a Green Lantern you need willpower, courage, and imagination. Nothing in the rules about intelligence or memorization :P

  • @futboyz I can recite 3 oaths off the top of my head.

  • Lol

  • what a fuck???????????????

  • tragic a green lantern failed at the OATH

  • Uh Control Freak you okay?

  • Batman: Teaching kids how to cheat on tests.

  • No weasel shall escape my...spoon?

  • Is it just me, or does every vertical shot of G'Nort's ring look like the symbol of the Red Lanterns?

  • G'nort may not be very smart or strong... but he is loyal, honorable, and brave

  • How the f**k did he get chosen for a ring again???

  • @shinbanman

From influence of his uncle, how else do you think he could have ? :P

  • A Green Lantern needing a cheat sheet, how did he get in the Corps again??? Bribe the ring???

  • @snakes3425 Honesty and fearlessness are the only essential requirements, which means you can be a bit of dick if you're at least honest about it.

  • G'nort is not a real lantern he was given his ring by a villianous group handing out knockoffs to any idiot. Im not sure is G'not was killed prier to the lantern wars but a black lantern was shown in a panel in the back ground that looked an awful lot like our poor hero

  • .........Wedyl T. Wolf??

i swear to christ its his voice

  • That wasn't even a cheat SHEET, he wrote it on his arm....

BTW, do any of my fellow nerds have a GL oath of their own? *crickets* -_-'

  • A Cheat Sheet? Seriously?

    Fail.

  • G'Nort doesn't look like that. He should be big and furry... like a wookie.

  • @thelazyreader in the comics he looks more like an Irish setter or a small wookie depending on who is drawing him.

  • at least he tried, ..but in a dangerous situation... i really think he needs to turn in his ring. for his own safety.. ESP. if he cant remember the oath. it was funny though.

  • y is his ring dodgy

  • LMAO Nort is awesome.

  • In sunniest day, in cloudiest night, no bad guy shall escape my bite XD

  • =haha

  • G'nort is the greatest green lantern!!!!

  • try the dumbest lantern if he needs a cheat sheet

  • ROFL

  • lol cheater. I thought not all lanterns needs oath to recharge.

  • they do need and oath, but most lanterns have there own that they came up with

  • I mean like they don't need to say it out loud. I remember reading somewhere that you can just have a moment of silence and recite it in your mind.

also, it's more like a figurative thing that you reminds yourself what is the purpose of being a green lantern and stuff, so you do not need to know by heart.

  • I know that the Green Laterns can say their own oath, but I thought most did say this one in honour of Hal Jordan?

  • In the comics the oath is not mandatory, but functions more like a timing device. The time it takes to say the oath is the amount of time it takes to fully recharge the ring (kind of like estimating seconds with "one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand..."). Per "Emerald Dawn" the first time Hal Jordan recharged his ring it stuck to the lantern for a time while recharging (he wasn't able to remove it during that time. He didn't say the oath while he was charging it.

  • @Solitaire001 It is also supposed to be a way for them to focus their will. So if G'Nort thought he had to know the oath for it to work, than he would have to or else he couldn't focus his will properly.

  • I love G'Nort

  • G'Nort is awesome.

  • @Martyhero

Yup, he definitely is. Cool to have him in this show or many may have never heard of him.
