Even though I'm no longer a socialist I can totally sympathize with their concerns. I still believe in a strongly pro-worker, less-economic-inequality agenda, which would put me in the left wing of the Democratic Party.

No. The biggest misconception one can make about order is that rulers must enforce it. People are perfectly capable of making decisions at any level of society. They just have to be willing to learn and think for themselves.

Platformism - is an anarchist tradition that comes from an internal critique of the failures of 1917 Russian October Revolution. The main critique being that the anarchists lacked the organization needed to defeat the Bolsheviks.

It get's it's name from the founding document, a pamphlet titled _Organizational Platform of the General Union of Anarchists_

I see, sounds like a good idea. I need to read more about the specific schools of thought within the idea of anarchy, because I know it to be an overall good idea, but I don't think I have the knowledge of specific strains of it to have a particular opinion about one or the other.

I can't count more examples then fingers I have on one hand!

I wish other people used these other examples, and in fact, I consider them a 'better' representation of 'contemporary anarchism'.
