  • she sucks. gran marnier AND tripple sec? only a 1/2 oz vodka?. there are many different published cosmo recipes. I have made 100's of these already in my 3 year career and the recipe that I find works best is: 1.5oz citrus vodka. 3/4 oz cointreau. 3/4 oz fresh lime juice. and just enough cranberry to give it a nice pink color abt 1/2-3/4 oz is plenty. I garnish with a fat orange twist to back up the cointreau in its effort to balance the tartness of the lime and citrus vodka. Give it a try guys

  • I'm an amateur and even I know that's not how you make it! -__-

  • CHANGE JOB PLS

  • πολύ λίγο βότκα βάζει. η καλύτερη ποσότητα είναι 50ml κ όχι με 15 που λέει. φυσικά αυτά είναι γούστα κ διαφέρουν.

  • Good God woman, that isn't how it's done.

  • A cosmopolitan doesnt have Grand Marnier it has Triple Sec

  • @gtaleone it has triple sec yes, but grand Marnier can be used as a sub

  • @gtaleone plus grand marnier is so expensive to use all time..ahhahaa

  • also... any bartenders know that she put WAY too much cranberry in there and you can tell by the way she lifted off on the end pour. These videos suck.

  • the end of the video should be she is drinking the "mix" ............ :D i wanna see her face while drinking this "cosmopolitan" :D

  • fill your glass with ice... thats supposed to be a trick? lmao..

  • questa non è barwomen, è incompetente e pericolosa.-

  • Oh man...way way WAY to much cranberry juice. Should be just enough to color the drink, not enough to taste like a cranberry drink. And Grand Marnier? No. Simply terrible.

  • here I was thinking that it was completly imposible to fuck up a cosmo.....; prooved me wrong

  • always use club soda instead of water when chilling the glass.... the carbonation chills faster...

  • because that was their major problem with the video

  • FIRST off that is WAYYYY too mauch cranberry juice.... Second, you put 2 different types orange liquor in there and roses lime juice is not a cordial. and lastly, you need to put more than 1/2 ounce in a cosmo..... k thanx

    <3 VETERAN bartender RAYMATTICCC

  • omgsh to much cranberry and u dont usse grand mariner its a sub if u need it and if u use it use the right ammount

  • @changgooey Grandma would be a less common ingredient in almost any bar. You're much more likely to see a bar use Cointreau.

  • Can anybody tell me what the thing is that is connected to the triple sec?

  • fuckin machine that pours a so called correct ammount withh the right type of spout but i think its shit

  • it is called a berg system... it automatically pours and shuts off. theres a button behind the bar to tell it to pour either half an ounce or an ounce... all the way up to 4 ounces i believe.

  • complete shit.

  • I agree with a lot of people here; too much cranberry. The bar owner will kill you for wasting alcohol, especially when the alcohol is grand marnier, haha.

Again, you should NOT be teaching people how to make drinks.

  • ARGHHHH!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT...????

triple sec and grand manier are both orange liqueur.. why would u put 1 ounce of orange liqueur and 1/2 ounce of vodka..? and the cranberry juice.. WTF...? where the hell is this bar? should totally burn it down!!!

  • Hahahaha and she doesn't even know how to shake the boston properly. 2 oz(60ml) cranberry at the most, plus a cosmo has to be double strained and the martini glass is NEVER topped up to the top.

  • thats way too much cran!

  • this dumb bitch isn't only ugly but she sucks as a bartender.

    lame ass fat chick!

  • Why in the hell would you introduce an orange brandy into a drink that's supposed be basically be a vodka sour variation? Grand Marnier? Seriously... I agree with rdreier's recipe.

  • Too much craberry.

  • right on the fresh sqeezes is key as well i use lemon vodka and its garnished with a lemon twist not a lime of any cut

  • haha i love the bar tending wars goin on here...cosmo's are varied world wide, the only things i totally disagree with are her use of grand marnier ( where the fuck did that come from), too much cranberry, always fresh lime vs. lime cordial, and i also have a problem with how fuckin boring this chick makes bar tending seem!

  • grand marnier is used to make the cosmo gold...you can use blue curacao instead of triple sec as well to make it purple.

  • or parfait amour

  • Ya everyone is dif. I was taught 1 1/2 0z. vodka 1/2 cointreau (top-shelf triple sec) a splash of lime juice just enough cranberry to turn it pink and a lime wedge. but i never add water to chill because then you cant re-use that ice. just ends up saving me a trip to the ice machine on a busy night

  • its pretty obvious this girl has no idea what shes doing behind the wood... its pretty funny how everyone has a different idea of what a cosmo is. i always use (rail cosmo)

    1oz vodka

    1/2oz triple sec

    2 fresh squeezed limes

    1oz cranberry

  • four ct vodka 2 ct triple 1ct lime dash cran... perfect with leftovers for you to taste!

  • way toomuch cranberry juice, you should have a perfect 3 ounce pour with nothing left in your mix cup.

1 ounce vodka 1/2 triple sec 1 1/2 cranberry splash of Lime juice

  • 3 ounces vodka. Everybody saying 1 oz, 1 and a half, why so stingy?

  • 1 oz. Vodka

    1/2 oz.Triple Sec or Cointeau

    Splash of Lime Juice

    1/2 oz. Craberry Juice

    Garnish with Lime

    That's how I make a Cosmopolitan.

  • You guys don't know shit, neither does the video..the glass chilling is correct, 1 oz Vodka 1/2 oz triple 1/2 oz lime 3/4 oz cranberry.....its a fancy cranberry Kamikaze....never add flavored vodkas( citron etc.) unless requested by the guest....

  • I agree. By far the worst Cosmopolitan i've ever seen. I mean come on?

Pour water into the glass to keep it chilled?

    Never heard such thing.

  • you are supposd to do that! you always chill a glass if its a cocktail or asked for "up"

  • Well then I'd use ice instead of water, why? Looks more professional and afterwards you can use the ice in the shaker, if the drink is sposed to be shaken!

  • Yeah jonny....lots of these people don't know about the citron vodka i only found out like a year ago after 3 years of bartending.

  • Possibly the worst recipe for a Cosmopolitan I have ever come across. The Cosmopolitan was re-interpreted from an old 1950's recipe from san francisco by Cheryl Cook, and later the better known version by Tony Cechini of the Odeon. A Decent version of the recipe calls for 1.5 ounces of Absolut Citron, 1 ounce of Cointreau, 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice and 1/2 ounce of cranberry juice. If you like you can add some sugar syrup to sweeten it up, but no more than 1/4 of an ounce.

  • i'd employ you before them any day....
