  • @uchejadore I have found that everyone makes chin chin slightly differently that's why some taste better than others

  • Chin chin is made with milk and baking powder. If you do not add baking powder to the mix, the dough will drown in the oil.

  • thanks for uploading this video. may i ask the reason why egg & butter is added to the recipe? Also you used 2oz butter to 8oz flour but your recipe suggest 2oz to 1lb, may i ask why you used more butter when make the chin chin in this video?

  • I make chin chin all the time, and I can honestly tell you that yours was awesome. I mostly make them the traditional way. You know the worst thing is to spend time making that dough and then when your fry it, it burns right away lol!!! I am happy to see that you were able to master the frying part, because that comes through experience. There is no way to actually teach people that.

  • Well, I'm actually Nigerian and my mom makes chin chin ALOT. haha, well anyway, we make it in like 2 pound dough balls to fry up. I usually help her make it but we add more sugar for kids. I know this is really random but I just wanted you to know
