That's truth, but He is in Mayapur Dham, means due to it is the birthplace of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is Krishna and Radharani together, also Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the most merciful, therefore Ugra Nrisimhadev is effeceted by the mood of the Dham. Also if you've ever read the story how this deity of Nrisimhadev appeared, then you will understand that if something would go wrong in terms of dealing with the deity (worship, arati), then the Lord would burn down the whole temple.
