@skfalco Sorry bout the delay, but If you havent realized, I was comparing stock to stock. Aftermarket tuned the CTS-V can do 0-60 in around 2.9-3.1 seconds with the Hennessey v700 package from Hennessey. That would be aftermarket vs aftermarket.

also bmw is, as he stated "twice as expensive" as the 300. Try using the 600hp viper thats not to far off the price of the bmw, then it can be a USA vs Euro competition.
the engine from the srt sucks! i know it has a good sound, but its a 6.1 liter V8 engine with just 425hp. for example the bmw m3 has a 4.0 liter V8 engine with 420hp. it has almost the same horsepower but it has a 2100ccm smaller engine. and the 300c srt8 drinks much more fuel than the m3.
most people buy a 300c just because of the ''mafia'' look.
But the BMW M3 is pretty much twice as expensive you idiot. If Chrysler spent money on developing engines like BMW do, they would be as fast and as expensive too. Use your brain, you've got one haven't you?
You lot realy havent got a clue. Value for money wise these are unbeatable and the srt8 is great fun. I hate american cars normaly but this I love. I just bought an srt for £15,000 with next to no mile on it and it drives like a dream...what better car can you get for £15K??? Drive one before moaning!
