I love your playing bro. Just keep your cool and ignore the asinine comments some people are making about your Guitar Idol performance. Bummer you were having fits with your sound. One thing I've learned over years and years of playing...never EVER plug in a new and unfamiliar piece of gear right before a performance. That said, the Voodoo Valve is a KILLER preamp.

For what it's worth, my favorite finalist was Tom Quayle. But there were several of you that I felt were better than Guerra imo.

This entry shows to me the problem with guitar idol in general-this entry signifies to me a total lack of structure and control of formal control. This is not IMO, a professional level entry -and yet, this is not even close to the worst ones picked for the finals. I was really shocked that the level of the competition was not MUCH higher, or, that more polished players which did enter, did not advance. Sorry to be so negative, I thought the lasting affect that the contest could have had is lost.
