CNN has Lou Dobbs (independent), Wolf Blitzer (who worked for dems and the GOP), had Glenn Beck (until he made a sexual comment toward a guest), and used pundits from every part of the political spectrum during the elections. Other anchors on the network are politically ambiguous. The only open liberal on CNN is D.L. Hughley, a comedian.
Just because they ask EVERYONE tough questions, doesn't make them biased.
Fox News DID have Alan Colmes (their token liberal), but they even got rid of him.
For Pete's sake, why is it that when you have another opinion other than liberal, you are not suppose to say anything, or should I say you can't say anything without people getting her panties in a wad, you guys have ABC,NBC,CBS, CNN, MSNBC, MUST I go on, so please give it a rest, and if you don't like Fox, then do as I do with the other channels, don't watch!!!!!!!!!

CNN also doesn't pass memos to their employees, telling them what terminology to use for everything, or which partisan topic to focus on for the day.
Of course, America has a market economy. So when you say that the "mainstream media" is mostly liberal, why do you think that is?
A network doesn't just pull money out of its ass. It makes money from advertisers who know they'll get publicity, because the channel has VIEWERSHIP.
