That is sick that Laporte could have the audacity to ask for his dogs back. They should have saved all the feces and carcasses and then stuck that man in a jail cell with a bed made of it.

How can any Judge or Court anywhere on earth even consider giving this monster the privilege of having ANY TYPE of animal for the rest of his life? He is a monster. It was so filthy his house had to be destroyed. I hope there are hundreds of protesters at his sentencing to urge the court to either committ him to a mental ward or threaten him if he ever even attempts to own an animal again. Those poor dogs.

I have a rescue basset/beagle here who because of his torment has to go into rescue so his issues can be worked on. I pray these wires are left in their now loving homes

I pray that God will bless the judge in this case with compassion and common sense and no animal will ever again be subjected to LaPorte's inhumane torture.
