What is a "spirit" apart from the scriptures? In any case, Kendall's association with Hinn and similar folk should surely tell you something...

Yes.Tthe Word cannot operate without the Holy Sprit and the Holy Sprit needs the Word. We are lacking in Word AND Spirit churches.

It's a Biblical observation. In the early church there was no separation between the Spirit and the Word. 1 Thess.1:5says "Our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, the Holy Spirit" There are churches now where the emphasis is on teaching, doctrine and theology and there are churches where the signs and wonders, gift of the Spirit emphasised. Both are right but BOTH are needed despreately in the present time like it was in the book of Acts and Romans!

i love how this is taken for granted

he is just expressing his opinion and thoughs on a subject, he was picked to be a pastor by other men, not speaking to god, he himself didn't speak to god, or had god appear, only though he's doing god's will and that god somehow affects him, even if it's just a personal feeling

it's so hard to believe people listen to this, the stuff he's saying, he has made up in his head

I highly recommend that people read the bible because it is purer and because there are certain people we should not pray for . In the gospels you will find a characters called Pharisees (hypocrites) who are very cunning ministers and you also find a character called Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus. You will also learn about the unforgiveable sin called the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. 1 John 5 days "There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that"

I highly recommend RT Kendalls book Total Forgiveness is described by as spectacular as any miracle. Should be read by every race and nation It is far the book that has the greatest potential to bring healing, joy and freedom to those who follow the hardest call in our lives: forgive, totally. This is RTs secret, he is blessed by God and respected and loved by Christians.

I am a long time member of Westminster Chapel where RT Kendall served God for 25 years.

He was an extraordinary, preacher, anointed leader and a true man of God.

Always treated everybody with respect.

He reached out for poor and outcasts with love and compassion.

He did not take himself seriously and was never interested in money and fame.

If you believe that people can live wicked lives have a gift of righteousness, you are blaspheming. Even non christians know that God teaches people to do good. God does not teach people to preach and teach the bible but secretly do wicked things . It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. It is a blasphemy to preach about the kingdom when you practice wickedness in secret. Judas Iscariot was not forgiven for this and others like him wont escape God's righteous judgement.

Which Jesus are you following? Do you condemn Jesus Christ for helping those who had been deceived by ministers who secretly did evil but pretended to be holy in public? I believe in Jesus Christ who spoke these words

"And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar"
