just take out the file called chars_t_body.rez doesnt make your combat arms laggy just makes your other characters grey

this really works! I used to get a average .78 kdr (I know I suck) but when I took out the texture along with some help from game booster 2 , I played a sector 25 game and got a 2.0 kdr base raping no lag! p.s I play on a 3 year old laptop. only problem is is that you can't see through glass

THIS SHOULD BE AN OPTION IN THE GAME being able to remove map textures not ALL textures but map textures cause it does reduce alot of lag and also its bullshit how it can get you banned

if i got banned from this sorta thing i would make a million fking bots and have them pwn everything in existance! seriously though its BS that they couldnt make textures that wer super low quality for laggy computers

@sweepea38 if that would be possilbe it would an unfair gameplay for ppl with high quality, as they would see eevry piece of grass etc. u could hide behind some grass, and a person with high detail on wouldnt see you.

i cant say it didnt help the lag cuz it got better but there were still some issues. also when i dragged out the 4 textures it never replaced them so ingame all the walls were gray

ty so much for this iv'e tried almost everything for getting rid of lag and this works the best. i also remember this from before. once they released a "hack" that got rid of the textures for you and called it "reverse chams" since instead of making the people look stupid it made everything else stupid so the people stood out. thanks anyway works great

@xColdAsIce but u are removing files from the folder of CA witch is breach of contract and nexon can find out because they have the right to go onto your computer without notice and check read the full contract it may pay off trust me

I did this and the only problem is you can't see through fences and grass. So i just left the bigger Texture file in and took out the other 3. With out all the Textures it makes it alot easier to see the other players. So that's a plus.

ok maybe you already have thid question answered already :p but no if you move it somewhere and keep it to a folder. yes you can put it back but if you delete it...... no you cant get it back unfortuantely and you have to wait for the next patch to get the textures back.

u dont have to start the game then quickly throw them in there like he did, just put them in there, close everything, THEN start the game. it will still work. and also, you'll only have to repeat this after a patch, cuz the texture files get replaced back into the GAME folder. i think its smart to also put the texture files back in there b4 u patch the game cuz if they are already in there, there is no need for combat arms to replace them, making the patch go faster for that part.

u can drag out the files before you click game start....it will only remake the files of there is a new patch version you havnt downloaded
