and the couple who made it up.. look like weirdos any ways. he was always fantasiesing hurtting his wife all the time??... that was his fantasy. i think the husbend did alot of pot or something same with the wife. they just seem odd too me. but the story is very interesting.i wish i could go there and see for my self. but if it was real. I just read the book, "The Sallie House Haunting" and it gave me the creeps for days. They should turn this true story into a movie, based on the book.
on the show A Hunting, they have an episode called sallies house and in that 1 they have the same exact living room as the same episode as hunting in conneticut...weird ? i thought it was kind a real 2 until 2 episodes had the same living room in the show !
And I actually think it would be awesome to live there. I've wanted to ever since I was little and started hearing stories about it. Maybe I'm just odd. Ha! :)

I'm from Kansas city. About 45min to and hour away from atchison. I've always wanted to go investigate the Sallie house, but have never had the chance to without risking being arrested. Ha. I Have been to atchison though, and have walked around the outside of the house. Atchison is beautiful. Rather actually haunted or not, it definitely has some awesome haunting features.
