Not sure where on the internet, but if you have the rogue spears cds, you can rip the music off just like an audio cd...probably on there.

I don´t know if it works also for XP but try to search in Google for "Rogue Spear vista fix". I think this shold also help with XP but I don´t know just try it out and fight for your old games like I do. :)

@nolifemerc I also just remember as I tried to install that fix it didn't worked for me neither. :( Seems the only thing you can do is reinstall a old Windows 98 or 2000? Then it shall run perfectly altough I never tested cause I do not have such old Windows versions anymore. :/

Please ubi remake this but with things we wished the original R6 series had.

1. A map editor to go with the mission editor.(you can put your own stuff.)

2.bigger maps with about 16 player support or more.

3. Though I don't like r6vegas, I'd like to be able to customise my character completely (this would have benefitted clans)

I´m not a expert in technical things but if you play Rogue Spear its better you try the compatibily mode for Windows 98 or Windows 2000 because as Rogue Spear was made 98 and 2000 already exist. It was not made for 95 anymore but I´m not sure better you try it out :)

It doesn't work on any of the compatability modes... I fucken hate this because it was working on XP before. Smash my keyboard into a pulp... The 2.05 or 2.25 patches don't work for UO or RS either

Damned this sounds really bad :( But look in Google for "Rogue Spear vista fix". Did you tried that already? Just download it and then overwrite this one file. I didn´t tried it out but downloaded it also and I heard then the game works with Vista because then it use a Ghost Recon file which works for XP and Vista. Try that out. I hope this helps. :)

For some strange reason, I tinkered around with changing compatablitiy modes last night, no luck. Tried again 2 x this morning, no avail. then thought I try it again then it worked this afternoon. Dont need to check the compatability box for OS.... Bloody weird... Worx now. Now I can try the NATO mods and have a blast. Do you know of other good RS mods. There is a great one which is the orginal Eaglewatch campaign for RS, and it works a treat... thanks for advice b4... keep in touch!!

Good to know youve done it. Yeah I have much mods I downloaded from a internet site which doesn´t exist anymore but maybe they can be found somewhere else: Spetsnas, NATO, Red diamond group, Dday WW2, blackhawk down and some skin mods or the roosters 50 tangos which let you allow to play with 50 terrorists on maps where you normally just can have 30. But not all mods are working for me sadly. :(

I get goose pimples and shivers every time I see that. They show the title of the game, and you think that it's all over, but you hear the ambience of the music, creating a dramatic pause before you're reeled back into the action. None of the recent video games ever gave me that feeling as strong as UO. Intros are like a first impression and Red Storm has done it epically in this. I'm gonna watch it again now... *shivers* F***in' A!!!

Couldn't agree more... I remember the days when I spent hours and hours planning my missions in Rogue Spear... What a great game that was. The latest "Vegas" installments are uninteresting, and try to dramatize everything.

By the way, Bill Brown's music really helps set the tone for the old R6 games!
