  • I love this show so much and I am very happy there is another season, thanks to the CBC! yeah

  • I was hoping he could act so he'd change careers and get out of politics. But no, he's as much of a shit actor as he is a shit PM.

  • I just happened to see this vid and all I see in the comments below...is what, a political debate?

  • What would have been even funnier... When the "Prime Minister" turns so we can see his profile -- it is Iggy!

LOL! that would have been priceless!

(PS - I am a Conservative wish a sense of humour)

  • why is the show only running for 5 seasons? I recently purchased cable to specifically watch this programme. Please keep Murdoch on, it is well written, acted and produced. We have very few Canadian tv shows that are interesting and to see this fall by the wayside would be tragic.

  • I like Stephen Harper even more now!

  • "My reputation as an expert in politics" LMAO

  • @sweiland75 LOL i know eh!!

  • I have nothing better to do than argue politics in the comment section of a YouTube video about a Victorian murder mystery show!

  • The internet as we know it could be gone through this man, Steven Harper

Canada "lawful access" bill C50 + invasion of privacy

    Are we truly free?

  • @feverz28 Given that Harper is still Prime Minister, it is obvious that Canadians don't have a problem with what he has done to this country.

  • @feverz28 But Harper supporters prefer to wallow in ignorance and not read his actual agenda.

  • Here is some info for you Harper....hockey is not part of the NWO plans you are laying for the people you say you represent.

Has anyone even seen Harper stick out his toungue....just curios if it has split in the middle like the rest the elite he pulls policies for.

    Harper = NWO patsy

  • @feverz28 ahahahahahahahahaha are you suggesting Steven Harper is a reptilian alien who works for reptilian alien new world order masters?

    What a fucking joke!

  • hey my anti zog friend. switch off the tv and get a job.

  • I thought he was Stephen Harper but I wasn't sure lol XD

  • I'm a proud Canadian!

  • awwww

  • He's well versed in acting for sure.

  • Anyone else notice the print on the wall at 0:27? It's King Billy crossing the Boyne, great thing that it’s accurate in making him, the Inspector an Orangeman. Glad to see King Billy and PM Harper as well!

  • PM Harper is a prick

  • Mr. Harper should keep that look in his cameo appearance - he looks much younger and cool, way ahead of the competition.

  • I love PM Harper

  • @Winston2004 ew

  • @Sinthusized what are u a communist too?

  • @Winston2004 I just find harper's politics revolting. you would be in agreement if you thought critically.

  • @Sinthusized that s because you are a fool... I love him and his politics. If you had any brain, you'd love him too. So now shut up and go play with your toys, kido.

  • @Winston2004 because you belittle everything that is new to you, your mind fails to expand

  • @Winston2004 try reading his polices.... you might learn something. I would recommend you stop reading his propaganda and start reading the facts

  • Can we not get into an argument about which party and what kind of prime minister harper is becasuse that is what the ballot is for and not for this little clip

  • AT 0:53...and you would be? lol !!!

  • this episode implemented that Canada support the confederates, this is quite controversial for a show Set in Canada NO ?

  • Canada sure is a complicated country to understand because of your mixture of American British Irish culture and laws it's hard to get my head around it.

  • @caseyr1 so what is Canada version of the us president. in the uk the primeinster or Queen is head of state and in Ireland our president is head of state. Correct me if I'm wrong. If aliens invaded Canada which member of govermemt would be notified ? In the us it's the president, in the uk it the priminister in Canada who ?. What I am asking is who runs your country ?

  • @MrVercettti Prime Minister.

  • His hair looks better on screen than IRL

  • Question..... why is Wilfrid Laurier english?

  • looks much better than he does in 'real' life.

  • Fuck ! my iPad auto correct fucked up the last two coments, sorry to any canadians reading my comments.

  • @MrVercettti It's cool, we know what you meant :)

  • My iPads automcorect corrected my misspelling of Canada to spry aboit that If I offends any canadians out there.

  • Cool a head of state on a tv show LOL, I'm not Canadian and don't live in Canada Irish andmwatch Murdoch all the time it's awsome, nut all u candies think your prime ministers an asshole right ?

  • @MrVercettti not that it's big thing but i need to point out that the Prime minister of Canada is not strictly speaking, a head of state. He is the head of government. The right honourable David Lloyd Johnston is Canada's head of state.

  • @caseyr1

    @MrVersettti

Actually, David Johnson, the Governor General, is the Queen's representative in Canada. The Queen is actually the head of state but it's a ceremonial position that holds no power. The Prime Minister and his Cabinet make all decisions pertaining to the governance of the country as you indicated.

    I know. Very confusing. lol.

  • Gee it's almost like Harper wants something. I WONDER WHAT IT COULD BE...

  • Libya carries no debt and is does not participate in debt based banking, it also has a value backed currency, banks dont like that , all the countries attacking Libya are all in debt to these global banking scum, figure it out sheeple. All the world loved Hitler, he was Time Life man of the year twice but the world was forced to turn on him when he turned on the bankers and started printing his own currency and was very successful doing so.

  • @knelsond You really need to get a grip. Take off the tinfoil hat and join the rest of us in the real world. As far as Time Magazine and Hitler goes... "Man of the Year" as the used to call it is NOT ABOUT POPULARITY or whether or not they "like" the person. It's why the renamed it "Newsmaker of the year". They often select infamous and reviled people - BECAUSE THEY HAD A MAJOR IMPACT ON THE NEWS THAT YEAR!

  • @knelsond That is 100% true! But I don't think the people who watch this show care one little bit about that piece of useful information. When I read the comments for this video I can see this country is in a lot of trouble. If he were to be prime minster back in the time that this tv show was set he wouldn't have lasted very long, if he was lucky he would have been thrown in jail for treason. People back then would not tolerate Harper's behavior!

  • it's just amazing to see all the stuff he can do WOW :)

  • This would have been more fun if they had asked Jack Layton to play Laurier.

  • @hygienist2 taliban jack s dead

  • Yeah it would have been great for Jack to be in this movie. I like this show. I like Harper. He's a good sport

  • cool ,i love this big man

  • Chose the worst actor to portray Laurier, looks nothing like him

  • I must admit he looks better in the uniform, looks more professional, it suits him.

  • I agree with Neurolanis. The guy is a criminal. Canadian shows like this won't last under his regime. Well maybe this one will, because he likes it.

The only thing that could have made his scene better would have been without him in it. Terrible actor.

But he is amazing at evil, greedy, ruler of the country. That's not acting.

  • @Themarjmar Stephen Harper doesn't have a regime. He tries to connect with Canadians and does a lot better then past leaders. You Liberal supporters always have to find fault in something with the Conservatives. People blame him for hard times but look to the South and you'll realize we're not doing as bad as the States and that's he's trying to pull Canada from these hard economic times. Whether or not you agree with me I think it's cool he was on the show.

  • @Canuckchick52 I'm not completely for Harper, but I'm not against him, either. I just wish there were some things he would do differently. I think it was cool he was on the show. I'm not for Liberal, either. I vote NDP.

  • @Canuckchick52 Read his platform THEN try arguing for him...

  • Sickening, to let this criminal guest star. He won't even fund any Canadian film projects unless it is approved, deemed as appropriate (Bill C-10.) Obviously anything that questions the government wouldn't likely be approved. It's an attack on freedom of speech in this country.

This kind of thing only serves to make this dictator look good. Reality is more important than fantasy.

  • @Neurolanis You're just an angry Liberal supporter that's getting mad at the Prime Minister for having a bit of fun in his life. I think it's cool that he was a guest star and rather funny the situation they put him in. Michael Ignatief is the real criminal and let's just be glad he's left with his tail between his legs. He's doing a pretty decent job as PM considering the economic downfall we're going through.

  • @Canuckchick52 Sorry to disappoint you but I do not like the Libs either. I am against Free Trade. I voted NDP by default, but they are a corrupt party too.

No, Stephen Harper defies the constitution, parliamentary procedure and judicial law. He tramples over human rights. He rules like a dictator. Innocent protestors are beaten down. Bill C-4 will see refugee children and babies put in PRISON!!!!!!!!! The man is a fascist pig. But it's ok, because he guest stars on TV..

  • @Neurolanis I know all politicians are corrupt in some but unfortunately we have to elect one of them and as it goes I don't think Stephen Harper is a bad choice. He's finally standing up for Canada and stopped us getting bullied around by the States. We're finally pulling out of Afganistan and we're not in as bad shape as economically as the States. I admit he seems a bit cold and disconnected sometimes but at least it seems he's making a bit of an effort now. How well would you do as PM?

  • Comment removed

  • @Canuckchick52 Standing up for Canada? By stating at the G20 in Toronto that it means "a loss of national sovereignty"? By controlling every element of our society that he possibly can? By booting anyone under him who disagrees? By doing whatever the hell he feels like (like shutting down Parliament during the Winter Games?) By bombing Libya? Stealing taxpayers dollars to further fund his campaigns? By stripping funding for smaller parties?

Imprisoning *children* is ok by you??

  • @Neurolanis If someone under you doesn't agree with what your running for then it's only smart to kick them out. It's not really like they do anything useful in Parliament half the time so who cares if they shut it down for the Olympics. At least he was there to support Canada. And he's not bombing Libya, he's bombing Gaddafi to get rid of him and make Libya a better country. Please explain what you mean when you say imprisoning *children*.

  • @Canuckchick52 Pardon me, but he IS bombing Libya! Innocent men, women, children and clergymen have DIED in bombings aimed at THEM! One of these people was speaking out to murder ten people for each one of theirs who have died, for all nations involved--which includes Canada. When you skip diplomacy to just BOMB someone, well, it's a good war to make *enemies*. You probably don't know much about the subject because the Canadian media isn't allowed to say much! Yes, typical Harper censorship…

  • @Neurolanis I learned about the child enslavement part of this Bill C-4 they will be voting in when they return to Parliament through a passion speech in the House by Olivia Chow. They pointed out that this includes *all* refugees, including elderly, children and even babies. The Cons made no defense of this. I researched it and found some media links which also mention this part of the bill. I’d gladly send you the links to these pages if you wanted. I am ashamed to be Canada these days.

  • @Neurolanis We need more people like you in canada my friend. People who actually DO research and don't just follow blindly. When i was reading these comments i found it sickening how many people thought harper was a "good guy". READ HIS POLICY AHHH, he is burning Canada to the ground

  • @THINKdontfollow Indeed he is. I've actually done a lot of videos on this very thing. There are a lot of people who dislike him but few realize how bad he is. All our rights are being stripped away and no one seems to notice. Even Occupy doesn't seem that concerned about him at all. It's disappointing.

  • @Canuckchick52

Libya is trying to create democracy so we should not being trying to bomb Gaddafi but rather capture him and have a trial.

Why don't you look up Bill C-4 if you want to know?

  • The prime minister isn't supposed to be having fun.... he's supposed to be running our country. He hates Toronto anyway why Murdoch Mysteries? He should have gone on freakin Heartland or something. He probably dreams of being a movie star lol.

  • @SoyMoney I don't think he hates Toronto when he cheers for the Toronto Maple Leafs and was born there too. Even at Ottawa vs. Toronto games in Ottawa he's seen cheering for Toronto. And he went on Murdoch Mysteries because his daughter and him love to watch it. Ronald Reagan aws an actor then President, so maybe Harper will be a politician then actor.

  • @SoyMoney He's from Toronto, you dolt. Anyway who actually watches soap-opera crap like "Heartland" anyway????

  • @Canuckchick52 You have NO references to back up what you are saying LOOK AT THE FACTS. Notice how Neurolanis actually includes the bill number? I honestly can't tell you if you are a youtube troll or are actually that naive. The PM is just taking the credit for Canada's stung economy and it is only doing well because of the opposition (you can read about that in an earlier portion of the tread).

  • @THINKdontfollow You know what, I'm a kid, and in this day and age it's a miracle I even know who the PM is and what party he's in. Sorry if politics bore me to death but I'm trying to learn about it. I realize I know little on the subject but considering I can't vote why should I. I know how the political system works in Canada (concerning MPs, MPPs and such) and I've been to the Parliament buildings a few times but to be honest I don't read about any of the proposed bills or things like that.

  • @THINKdontfollow During the last election I paid attention and despite the great leaps that the NDP party made I knew that there was no way Jack Layton was going to be Prime Minister, despite him being the best choice. Between the candidates left I thought we might as well leave Stephen Harper in office as Michael Ignatieff would be a terrible choice and the leader of the Bloc party looked psycho in the debate. So sorry if me liking our Prime Minister offended you.

  • That is great... good to see that we support Canadian shows for Canadians

  • i cant wait! :)

  • He's a pretty good actor. No wonder people can't figure him out.
