@fergy0964 ... so you want to make an antivirus that spreads itself like a virus... Well, that would be terrible. Even if you did somehow make such a thing, it would become widespread. If it became widespread, hackers would devote large amounts of time to figuring out how to circumnavigate it, which they will succeed eventually in doing. It may seem like a good idea at a first glance, but it won't work at all once you try putting it to use.

if you want to change the directory (ie.C:\Documents and Settings\User\whatever) type in: "cd .." w/o the quotation marks. cd stands for "Change Directory" the .. is a command to go back one directory.

to open cmd on a mac you have to start it up and hold the command key and hold the o key

on a mac you cant open cmd im start and stuff you have to open it up wen the computer is starting up

This use to be pretty much all the computer was, was a just big CMD :D then graphical user interface (GUI) came along (as far as i know).

But now we have done it easier to go around and open files and all that stuff, but i think CMD remains for people that are used to use it i think :P

just set some labels and run some if statement tests like if username == such and such and if password == such and such then goto success label else return to login screen. you'll definitely want to compile it into an exe if you have the password inside the source. if your talking about getting a user and pass from a database then you have to mix html and php and stuff with .bat which is weird...
