Thanks for the kind comments! The violin is by Joel Shewchuk of Phoenix, Arizona. It has a great recording sound. Sadly, I had to sell it to pay for a new instrument. You're right, I should have shortened the opening, but I was only able to do the 1st movement for the concert due to limited rehearsal time, so I figured I'd keep it. Since it's a small university, the orchestra was manly made up of community volunteers. They did a good job considering the limited amount of pros.

  • Toscanini bestemmierebbe l'impossibile ovviamente mi riferisco all'orchestra

  • what a shit orchestra...

  • Dude, superb work (Never mind the orchestra). You've got a lovely Menuhin thing going on with the vibrato. Keep it up, and thanks for performing such a wonderful and underrated piece (The Perlman version brings me to tears whenever i hear it, LOL)

  • orchestra is where the problem is at.

  • The orchestra is very bad...

  • the strings are out of tune

  • there are some intonation issues, but overall good

  • I think you have tremendous talent, young man. Keep up the good work. You have a wonderful vibrato and a very sweet melodic sound. Do as much public playing as possible and you will shake out those jitters. Very impressive!

  • wow! amazing. you need a better orchestra!

  • great!

  • You are indeed a man of many talents. This was excellent!
