Mine failed today. I have had it for about 2 years and Microsoft told me that it would still be under warranty..they sent me a shipping label via e-mail with packing instructions and said it would be 2-3 weeks before I would get it back.

my brother bought his from someone else and his got the red ring of death and called microsoft and they told him for $100 plus s&h they would fix it and extend his warranty 1 more year
