  • ever 2 years and that is beautiful sigtings

  • its tonight if you live in north america

  • anyone no how often thee things happen

  • LIKE EVERY 10 OR 20 yEARS

  • i gotta tell you the music killed it

  • ang ganda hehe

  • oooh no wonder i looked at 3:00 EST aussie nsw and it wasnt wer it was at like 7-8pm

  • (I might sound stupid but) did you speed that up or was it that fast. lol

  • That is real time. At that zoom, the moon's movement is easily visible. I'd have to do a little math to confirm the speed and field of vision, but I expect it would work out.

  • oh cool. when i saw it i was just looking out my window every few minutes and it moved a little fast but not that fast.

  • your love is a verb

  • i missed this last night by a few minutes

  • Impressive video with extra bonus audio.

    Definitive!

  • hey i saw it from bendigo, australia. it was indeed a gr8 spectacle

  • hey, when i looked at it (in person) i saw an orange-ish red-ish thing in cover of the moon when it started to dissapear, but i didtn see it in this vid. would it be becuase this one was fillmed in L.A and im in tustin?

  • Your eyes do a much better job than a ccd video camera, that's why a lot of directors still prefer old style film. I'm sure we saw the same thing between Tustin and San Gabriel Valley. The camera lies.

  • O.o oh. cause i had a telescope and it looked really kewl up close. but it also looked good wihtought the telescope so the first luner eclipse i ahve actually seen turned out to be the best thing my whole summer :]

  • I saw it on Venice beach.

  • Good job man!!! Keep it up. We really appreciate this since we cundt stay up late night

  • k for me, it didnt actually go black, it went reddish, wtf happened

  • The fully eclipsed moon was indeed reddish. The low light darkness of the last few segments is an artifact of consumer video equipment, particularly single ccd imagers with poor low light filtering & focus.

Also, ccds do poorly with high relative contrast, like between bright moon and dark sky, causing much of the washout and lack of lunar detail.

  • huslte hustle

  • the song really puts you in the mood. It's very beautiful! Thank you.

  • Make Eclipses, Not Wars!

  • Yeahya, Lunar Tics!!!

  • Me too o.O

  • i like turtles
