hey the first time when i heard this song it really made me wanna learn the guitar, i was wondering how you learned the guitar and what it takes to achieve all this.. i really want to learn it but i cant afford guitar lessons

u play very good, but john is john, nobody can compares with him (except clapton, bonamassa, vaugahn, etc, but they are different styles).

Ok it's a really hard solo to play, sorry but you played it without feeling at all... and that's what makes John Mayer so special.
Keep working, try to put more emotions, work vibratos, picking attacks... good luck !

sounds great! I'm working on that myself. That part from 1:05 on is kind of tricky rhythmically to get down for some reason. finish it up! And if you find a decent drum backing let me know :-)
