I like the cover but Maiden are sacred to me. Not taking anything away from musician ship but maiden are not that flash and trash solo stuff you were playing. The notes maiden play are there for a reason. :) Otherwise. I really hope you dont take this as trash talk. Its kind of like the way I feel about Janick ruining adrians original solos. Just an opinion sir. You have my utmost respect as a fellow guitar player.

That being said, since I am not an actual member of Iron Maiden I don't feel too badly =P I attribute it mainly to the adrenaline of the live performance and the fact that since 90% of the audience didn't know the song I had a little more freedom to cut loose. Splendid singer, he sounds a lot like Bruce. He's excellent at holding those last long notes too, but of course, no one can top Bruce, especially on for example the Rock in Rio version of this song, where he holds that last note for 26(!) seconds. :)
