Hole was a real loud grungy band and from 1989-1995. Then they fall off the radar in 1996 to return in 1997 with a completely different sound. Personally I enjoyed hole from 1989-1995, they were so raw. But when they came out with Celebrity Skin I was confused because how do you go from grunge to power pop? Though Celebrity Skin has a polished refreshing refined sound to it, I miss the babydoll Courtney that fucking rocked like no chick in the business ever did. Courtney is a legend.

I remember watching this live and it was rather sad, as Kristen and Kurt died within months of each other the year before and it must've been so hard for Courtney. I've been a fan of hers for her music, but the fact that she has been a survivor and proved critics wrong. Lots of people said she would be dead by now - wrong! Hole have apparently reformed!
