Well to compare Yod dominated john wayne parr twice( better fighter then souwer) And Buakaw barely got the win back in the champions of champions fight in jamaica. i train at Fairtex San Francisco and spar asians all the time and have not been hurt. they can handle there own but way too small muscular blue print and bone structure to handle anyone over 160LBS
muay thai isnt designed for people over 160lbs thats why thai fighters can have 2-300 fights cos they weight fuck all and cos less damage over the years, thats why fighters who are bigger are fucked after 20 30 fights cos if you weight 14 stone and you kick someone who 14 stone, bones break and get damaged a lot quicker

It's true from my experience... not most tho. Muay Thai has deep tradition, respect is crucial so people involved understand this. MMA doesn't have that history, that tradition. For many it's a sport or just "violence" not an art.
