YouTube does not allow any comments to be posted if it has a link so just do a Google search for, "oldapps firefox". Then you will find a site with older versions of Firefox.

I found a site for you that has older 3.0x versions of firefox. YouTube does not allow my comment to be posted if it is a link so just do a Google search for, "oldapps firefox"

Try downloading it again but this time...

1. Make sure you turn OFF or TEMP DISABLE any popup blocker, Anti-Virus or Firewall software you have on your computer

2. Make sure you download it from, Firefox(DOT)com

Your Internet connection might be cutting out for a second or so during the download. That could cause a corrupt download.

During the Download part I did fast forward it to spare everyone the boredom of seeing 2 minutes or so of the download bar. Other than that I do edit my videos with several zooms and I do have a fast computer and internet connection which helps.

how is firefox compare with the new Google browser - Chrome?

When Google Chrome first came out it was faster than Firefox. Then Firefox did some tweaking and released an update to make it faster than Chrome.

Chrome does utilize the CPU more efficiently by creating multiple processes for each tab while Firefox has 1 CPU process for everything.

As for other comparisons I do not know too much. I just downloaded and installed Google Chrome a few days ago.

Are you installing this on a Mac, PC, maybe on Linux? If it is a PC are you using Windows 2000, XP or Vista? I just need to know this info so I can pinpoint it more.

The reason I ask is since I cant see your computer or know anything about it I need to know as much specifics about your computer and problem in order to help you the best I can. Its like me giving you instructions on how to fix a Ford truck when in reality you own a Lexus car, I can give great instructions but they would be worthless to you.

I researched your problem. It seems what you need to do is uninstall Firefox (if you have 2 versions installed uninstall both), restart your computer and then install it again. To do this full process you must use an XP account that is an, administrator. The easiest way to tell if your current login is an administrator is to attempt to change the Windows system time (lower-right part of your screen/taskbar). If you can change it without any problems then you are an administrator.

Yes. Just go to the Firefox download site in the video and select the, "Other Systems and Languages" text link under the big Firefox 3 Free Download button/image. It will take you to a page that has Mac OS X download link.

For Linux users...

The above instructions will also take you to page with a Linux download link.

I just need to know what is the last thing in my video you were able to do and where in the video did you hit the brick wall. Also if you have any FIrewall programs like Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, etc. you need to disable them before the installation.
