I've been to a bunch of air shows. I've never seen an air show where they were dropping bombs and incorporated massive explosions into the show. It seems this is a form of propaganda where the government is trying to prepare US citizens to endure the chaos of battle in their midst. So they'll go about their lives like nothing's up when their neighbors houses are being demolished by 100 lb bombs.
