mickeyrobbo12, they last 2 minutes because the batteries need to be cycled a few times before the reach there full capacity, jsut run the truck a few times and keep chargin em,also check to make sure your gear mesh is correct and not too tight
hot bodies is the daughterly company of hpi.first was the ezilla released and when hotbodies stoped making it, it was released again from hpi as e savage, its the same truck from the same company but with different name and different standard bodyshell
goodnight ezilla, erevo is on its way and the new emaxx being water proof like the new Erevo says it all, no offence i dont take pride in dissing something but the ezilla cost me a packet and i couldnt wait too see the back of mine. thats not to say the ezilla cannot work, just dont run top cells in it or faster motors and keep that sliper gear doing its job. amen..
i have owned a ezilla which is same as e savage and id not bother, as the drive components are 2 mm thinner than the semaxes and they break all time, i used to break a drive shaft every outign and at 25 pounds a pair...
theres a new greatly uprated version of a emaxx coming out soon. :) nudge nudge wink wink, the rustlers good and teh jato is too fast to control in my opinion, but i love staduim truck i own a T4 myself. thnew emaxx all the way!!
thanks, i tried revo ones with a little notch taken out of the shock attachments. emaxx wrk if you change te diffs too dont they. it would make a much faster truck than teh emaxx as its lighter , if the drive shafts where changed.
i found the savage wheelie bar fitted great on the ezilla.
Either wait for the E-Maxx V-Twin or just get a VXL. I am getting the VXL stampede and I will also try to get the E-Maxx when it comes out. The jato is nitro and very hard to drive and maintain (not to mention control), so you should probably get the new vxl or the e-maxx
If your a nitro fan then the jato would be what you want. It is very fast, but it is a very high maintenance truck. For electric I would probably suggest the rustler vxl. Cause e-savage isn't brushless (pretty slow), and to buy the velinion set up separately it cost's around $225. Though the e-savage has more ground clearance and bigger tires, so you could probably tackle bigger obstacles.
WHAT! when i raced mine i only got 8mins out of stock battery and 12mins out of a 4300mah battery. that was stock with a fan and wider tyres. (velocities and bowties) now ive got brushless its much longer, about 20-25mins wiht a 4300mah battery and with 4 sets, i can go all day until something breaks :)

25 pounds a pair!! Mate you are getting ripped. Put e-maxx shafts in no more problems.
BTW I bought an E-savage roller for 120 dollars AU. Ebay is your friend.

If you want speed, get the VXL. Toughness is the E-Savage and the jato, well, is just nitro. lol ;)

check my vids, specifically "Updated E-Savage / E-Zilla backflips, crashes, etc" if you want to see what an e-savage can really do.

Stock Battery 15 minutes ride at full power. Best Battery 20 minutes rides. Dont worry about batteries. No need to change.

which is faster,e savage,e zilla,or e maxx

i think the E maxx is better than the E savage
benjaseba 2 years ago 2
As stock the e-sav is about 4mph faster, but very little in it. Personally prefer the twin plate chassis on the E-sav to the E-Maxx's flat chassis
