@notelmo1 @notelmo1 There's so much corruption induced by outside governments in Africa, nations that want their resources, but don't benefit the people, only officials doing business w/ bigger nations score $ rewards. This leaves many poor & hopeless. So they turn 2 despicable deeds like poaching. I abhor poaching, but I also know rich nations R raping Africa & creating desperation. This place's amazing, but we must look at what roles & actions our gov'ts & corporations R doing in Africa.

You can. Go to the website and adopt an elephant for a year. It helps with supplies, medicine, rescues and is worth it. I adopt 1-2 every year and each month you get a watercolor painting (in an email) of the elephant.
