Well his design is suppose to be based off of General Grievous. But according to TSO1, Vadak had a completely different design all the way back in 2004, when Vadak was built. So he didn't always look like Grievous.

Yes, they are partners for now, until they meet the future resistence fighters that will be the main characters throughout the entire series. In the third episode, it will explain the history of the planet and how it all happened. Also the Resistence fights Baxitus's army and Vadak battles Toa Volta, but in blade to blade conbat. Baxitus won't appear until the end of the series, which depends if we stay on Bara Magna in 2010, if we do, then I will continue SALVATION in 2010.

Well, I got Vadak's cape from well, LOL, sorry, its pretty funny, I got the cape from a General Grievous toy and when I built Vadak for the first time WAY back in 2004, I was like "Something's missing." Then I remembered I had that Grievous cape, so I put it on him and what do you know, if fits perfectly, now years later, I have rebuilt Vadak completely in a whole new way and the cape still fits. The Cyron Walker (I felt like renaming it) is a machine in Baxitus's army.
