  • Indeed....WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT YOU KATE!?!?! YOU HAVE BEEN SUCH AN AMAZING FORCE IN MY LIFE, IN MY HEART, IN MY MUSIC & IN MY DREAMS... THANK YOU KATE, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU & YOUR MUSIC! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

  • I love how happy she is in this video! <3

  • mtv/ music video proves its point here. Great song enhanced by vid This is a perfect melding

of the two. We know KB's part in this; to whomever created the visuals...thanks,

  • @TheJmd441 Yes, every once in a while there is a video that actually enhances the song. I think that it true for many of Kate's videos.

  • Queen Kate....nuff said

  • @StevieK99 YES !!!!

  • What would we do without you? oh, Kate. Rock me!

  • @crimsonkng1.Thank you...what would i do without my fans...?

  • Before Madonna,Gaga & Paula Abdul, there was Kate Bush. The first lady of dance in modern music video. Gotta love her.

  • Mmmh,mmmh, mmmh,

    Mmmhh,mmmh, mmmh,... ¡YEAH! <3

  • it is david gilmour... he discovered her.

  • She´s a fabulous artist and a so beauty woman!!! Love U Kate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is that David Gilmour on guitar? it kind of looks like him

  • i think this was a much more commercial album that could have been a bigger album in the u.s. than "hounds of love" ever was.

  • @katebushisagenius In my opinion, Aerial is very weak in the composition : conventional melodies on ambient music. That album is very boring. But I save 3 songs : " Bertie ", " Prologue " ( still "boring" but with a beautiful melody) and mainly " A coral Room " , a masterpiece. The 2 other songs are just very good songs.

  • A very good song but this sounds as a remake of the fantastic " The Big Sky ' (" Hounds of love " album). " The Sensual World " album shows the beginning of the impoverishment of the fabulous Kate Bush's composition skills. (that album is still excelllent, mainly if you compare with the very disapointing " The Red Shoes " and "Aerial " albums)

  • David!

  • Thank you ICEandWATERLILIES that was heart felt and you have such a fantastic name I love it. Don't be a stranger, my email address is on my youtube channel. You are felt. Love December Blue

  • Now I become a fan of Kate Bush

  • she reminds me of myself.

  • @redfirebluecipher I LOVE YOU.

  • For those who appreciate this song & artist try listening to The Golden Compass soundtrack. It contains a song by Kate & added so much more magic and depth to the movie and the books that it's based on. The song is called Lyra. I also have to say that songs 8 & 9 on Aerial are powerfully magical and loving. Again Thank-you so very much Kate : )

  • @katebushisagenius The first song that I ever heard was Love & Anger so that song and album has a special place in my soul. There are certain people, songs, books, moments that have given me that nuturing support I needed in hard times. That album introduced to Kate Bush & since then many of her other albums have continually helped me to be a more loving, confident, compassionate, grounded, and liberated person whenever I listen to them. I love the Red Shoes, Aerial, & Whole Story too : )

  • Chills! This makes me weep.

    What a f...king GENIUS!!!

  • Kate for pope!

  • super,Kasia wracaj na scenę:-)

  • Nada Surf's cover is better :)

  • 200k views and I'm the first to like this video - really?

  • why is dave gilmour always there ? clinging on to glory past maybe? getting a bit boring now

  • I have been listening to Kate Bush since the 80's and she's excpetional as an artist. When I hear Lady Gaga, all can say is the ew...no cpomparison, same for the rest of them including Madonna, all flash, no substance

  • i listened to kate last night and now i love her,

  • That is not Richard Wright on keyboards. I was always curious who that silly guy with the mustache and hat is and what instrument he is playing.

  • @matthewche The man in the hat I do believe is Kate's brother Paddy, quite the expert on 17th century musical instruments it has been told...As for the instrument? Who knows, it is never shown clearly..Best to check The Sensual Worlds liner notes...

  • WOW IT IS RICK on keys!!!!! OMG I knew there was Dave, didn't know about Rick. What an emotion. She is simply incredibly perfect, as usual. So many gifts from her.

  • bliss...

  • @cythera431 bliss plus bliss

  • Kate Bush and David Gilmour together is pure magic! And isn't that Richard Wright on keys? Looked like him!

  • Kate Bush and David Gilmour together is pure magic! And isn't that Richard Wright on keys? Looked like him!

  • @mobetterjams maybe looks a little bit (like him), but no, definitely not Wright.

  • @LadyGaGaMonster4Life Those are my exact faves from that album! :P

  • Whats that globe she's holding?

  • @VTechfriend The Sovereign's Orb - goes with the scepter that she's holding.

  • @OakRidgeBob thanks! Acording to the Wiki it was created for the coronation of Charles II

  • hot!

who's the guy with the strip shirt...awesome

  • Fantastyczne :-)

  • Sensual World is my favorite Kate album

  • Been listening to this amazing lady since I was in high school and I'm 46 now ;)

  • Beautiful video.... never seen it before.... Thank you, Kate !

  • @LadyGaGaMonster4Life More dark and more personal every time she recorded anything. I personally don't really love HOL's A-side but the 9th wave is a very dark and dangerous place which I love to visit;)

Each and ever album is like a different book to me, different style and sound.

And omg it's so weird not to be bullied for loving TRS! :)

I didn't like Aerial at first... but life changed me and I had to slow down and at last had the right time to listen to it.

    Best wishes

  • @LadyGaGaMonster4Life I know all her albums by heart. If I had to make a list of my favs, TD would be no.3. But I don't think it's fair. Aerial, TRS and TD are the best albums I've ever heard. All in 3 different categories. Thanks for care anyway.

  • I've been looking for this song for ages now!! Thanks

  • I've been looking for this song fr ages now!! Thanks

  • Thanks for the reply friend! Yeah, I got a special place for Kate and the 'old gold' as you call it also. She's the real thing!

  • One of my favorite Kate songs and videos, thanks for uploading! :)

  • 3:09 Ladies and Gentlemen, David Gilmore!

  • love this video, thanks for posting

  • what an amazing, powerful song, even without the lyrics...with the lyrics, even more so. this is life-changing music...

  • listen NADA SURF´s cover

  • Wow, she is a great dancer :) The way she moves ...

  • @Sharmilka You should watch her in "Rubberband Girl".

  • @othercharr I know both versions of RBG by heart! Yeah, she is awesome!

  • @Sharmilka

You gotta see her in 1985's "Running up that Hill"! I loved the song when it came out but I never saw the official video until I saw it here. Simply awesome. Real conceptual dancework. I couldn't believe it was her dancing.

  • I am Bungholio...

  • @beowulven lolololol!

  • Love it <3

  • Fantastic song from a fantastic album. I remember buying it in a record shop in Lewisham in 1989. 1989!!?? Nice cameo from David Gilmour too...

  • Cette Femme est incroyable !

  • bump

  • Quelle artiste magnifique !!!

  • I love that "Yeeah!" at the end of the song! She's such a wonderful woman! :D

  • she starts on her knees...humble but then rises like the dancer she is...pure royalty!

  • my band is named after this song

  • As far as I am concerned, she is the greatest female musician of our time, free of the usual commercial and political constraints of many. Her vision has remained true over 3 decades and for that I am grateful.

  • I LOVE KATE"S voice and the accent too ha :O)

  • I don't have much to say about KATE BUSH that has not already been said. She truly is art within a human being, she changed my life's course. I first heard her through my best friend at the time [DEAN TREADWAY] and I am sure he would never connect the dots. It was 1980 and had purchased THE KICK INSIDE, I truly was not blown away. OMG, what if I had not given it the patience it deserved but at 15 years of age I did and the rest ist history. Thank you Dean, thank you KATE for every single GEM-JS

  • great ass.

  • @54taqiyya

    Yes...that too :p

  • @ 1:28 it's Mr. Bungholio and His Twirling Fartknockers!

    XD XD

  • Kate simply RULES!!!!

  • Kate and the whirling dervishes- what an act!

  • FANTASTIC

  • If I were a guy(sadly that did not happen the day I was born) I would definately marry someone as amazing as Kate.

  • @starlight76able

If you where a man, like me, were the fuck do you start?? :s

  • Brilliance. Kate's voice keeps me in awe

  • Dave GILMORE and a man with a massive wooden penis. What more can you want. Dave Gilmore!!!

  • @madmic1967 naw that was carlos, dave mathews gotta be in there somewhere, drums? yanni on keys.

bolshoi, whirling deves, vatican and she can groove.

bet she likes a slap on the butt too.

  • David gilmour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful song, beautiful album

  • For anyone who cares to know, that's a very rare Gretsch White Penguin guitar David Gilmour is playing in this video. I believe I read once only a few dozen of these guitars were built back in the late 50's.

  • @Kohntarkosz Hi, didn't they re-issue these, like the White Falcons? Although, I imagine he would have an original :)

  • Gilmour's is most definitely an original. The original White Penguins were built in the late 50's I believe. Gretsch actually ceased to exist in the early 80's, and didn't come back into existence until the late 90's. I don't know if they've built a reissue of the White Penguin or not, but any such guitar that David Gilmour (or anyone else) would have been seen playing in the late 80's would have been a vintage model.

  • @Kohntarkosz They actually came back in the early 90's. I nearly bought a re-issued White Falcon until I had a good close look and realised the quality was way inferior to the originals. I vaguely remember seeing an ad for a new White Penguin in the early 90's. Maybe I dreamt it. Cheers.

  • @Kohntarkosz Ok, just to confirm. There is a re-issue on eBay at the moment. Problem solved :)

  • Gilmour's is most definitely an original. The original White Penguins were built in the late 50's I believe. Gretsch actually ceased to exist in the early 80's, and didn't come back into existence until the late 90's. • love her to bits, but sometimes she produced such mundane uninspirational rubbish. Cloudbusting was the same. Straight majors, predictable chord changes.

  • @mensamoo I love cloudbusting 'cause the strings are gorgeous but i really don't care for this track.

  • @mensamoo If being a music whizz means I'll have that opinion, I'd rather know nothing about it.

  • @mensamoo - wow, what a moron.

  • @zunk11 you'll get used to it

  • is it just me of did Madonna rip part of this off in her "Bedtime Story" video? the part with the spinning guys in hats and her golden rod thingy. :) that's all really beside the point. the point is Kate Bush is bloody brilliant and this is a classic.

  • Don't ever think that you can't change the past and the future!!!

  • @Bubblybeth123 That is my favorite line of the song.

  • gives me chills

  • Dear Kate ...I.have love and anger issues too,...I love you , and my anger is......That it will always be a love that is unrequited........

  • I didn't know she was so... um... patriotic...

  • Ce morceau = La plus grande claque de ma vie.

  • I agree, simply one of the most BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL, & INSPIRING albums ever made. Thank-you KATE! : )

  • @Nakedolive.You re welcome.Thanks to all the fans!Love.KB

  • @KB1523 I am an Artist and Art Dealer in the US. You have always inspired me to sing, paint and perform. I hail you as the greatest female vocalist of all time. I have even painted your songs over the past several years! All my love, Sean.xxxx

  • If it's so deep and dark that you can't talk about it.....livin in the house between dark and confusion.....What would we do without you?

  • Been listening to Kate since '79 and she's still the best female vocalist of our time!

  • @squirrelike

I can honestly say that Kate was the one thing that got me through high school, the love and the anger that I felt, the tragedy of it all...Kate lead m throughit all with the trick of fiddle and the magic of her voice. Thank you Kate!

  • @squirrelike.Thank you.

  • @squirrelike yes she is. Under rated. I respect her so much for being a mother first.

  • @squirrelike I'm 25 and I seem to go on a musical journey back through time,,,,,old is gold....it's official and Kate Bush is just divine in every way

  • @themax316 Correct you are. I found Kate just at a record store looking for something different. I found tthat and much more. She's an artist which is so much more than what we're feed today as far as music goes. I salute you for having the taste of class ~

  • @themax316 I'm 26 and I have just started the journey.. It's wonderful, incredible and, of course, amazing! :)

  • Well all I can say as a 47 year old original Kate fan is she is still my favorite.....she is a master song writer and singer highly regarded by all who know!! What else can you say, she signed all my albums and I love her XX Kate

  • @Cathysfan.glad to read the fans still here.did i sign aeriel?

  • Really. Literally. This song changed my life,

    Please, Long live Kate Bush!

  • DAVID GILMOUR

  • Brilliant, such a powerful song and gilmour's guitar is great as usual. This was one of her hardest songs to get right, she wrote the opening lines, then didn't have a clue, luckily she obviously got a few ideas. YEAH

  • Rediscovering Kate. She may be one of the greatest artistic talents the UK has ever produced. Wow!

  • You run out of words in describing Kate and her work. She's brilliant. The only comparison I can make is to her friend, Peter Gabriel. They set standards that other performers can't touch. Love this song and the video. thanks jonkers

  • Still as powerful today as it was when she released it. And to see David Gilmour on lead guitars... wow, what a woman.

  • One of her best works yet Sensual World still have not got it don't know why. Always thank Dave Gilmour for Kate.

  • ALL OTHERS JUST SING OR PLAY. DARLING KATE CREATES MUSIC!

  • There's no way of not like her.

  • What a song. Can you imagine this played live!!! Kate, why didn't you tour again? The most original female artist ever. Never copied, never bettered

  • I still hear that lovely laughter after this finishes

  • Happy Birthday Kate. Love ya.

  • Her hair is stunning! What a striking woman. She looks too much like my mum though haha. Beautiful song as well <3

  • Isn't that a Gretch guitar?

  • @Frisbieinstein the headstock reminds me of white falcon's.

  • Absolutely freakin Gorgeous, both Kate and the Song. Thanks for uploading. ^5

  • Well first time I've seen this video...fabulous! Thank you for posting it!!

  • She has the Orb and Sceptre ~ make her the Queen already! ^_~

  • Kate, what would we do without you?

  • @Pulsar89.there would have been simply no proper female singer had kate never been born!

  • kate bush....ROCKS!!!

  • @guruofgood.kate bush flies!!!

  • A truly amazing artist and musician!

  • @MightyNostromo.she s just an amazing musician, she is the only female who could claim to be able to write amazing music like the beatles or pink floyd did.

  • the sensual world is one of my favorites!

  • This is an incredible song. Fills my heart with goodness.

  • GREAT

    I appreciate a lot

Originales chorégraphie and chanson également !

    Beaut9iful

thank youv ery much for posting

  • It was also a major departure for Bush, being initially composed on rhythm machine rather than piano, with songs extensively revised and rebuilt in the studio, rather than merely arranged there

  • Love Kate, this song and video

  • "It's so deep that I don't think that I can speak about it to anyone." Heavy sigh!

  • I have loved her music since the first notes of 'The Kick Inside' in 1978. She is so inventive, so different to all other artists. If, like we all do, we write down our top 10 songs of all time my list is littered with her songs. My top 3 KB songs? Love and Anger, Moments of Pleasure and then came the song that for me took it to another level..'A Coral Room' from 'Aerial'. A musical genius.

  • Fab song from Kate, as well as David Gilmour on Guitar.

  • Just gorgeous! What a woman.

  • That woman has enriched my life so much.

  • Love the song. I remember when this video came out. Probably the only music video with dancers on pointe!

  • @fieldhockeydad i can assure you it's not the only music video on pointe :)

  • Utterly awesome

  • love the whirling dervishes

  • So 80's video :)

  • She is just so special. Will we ever see or hear from her again?

  • Kate in 1989, rockin out!

Except for Nina Hagen, I think the only other one to come close to the same level as Kate is her protegee; Tori Amos, who's; "Under the Pink", "Boys for Pele" and "Chiorgirl Hotel" are the only three albums by one artist that can legitimately be considered as understudies to Kate's golden years trilogy of "Never Forever", The Dreaming" and "Hounds of Love".

Haven't listened to it in years and I can still sing every word.

  • greatest female artist on earth

  • As a Prince fan I was introduced to her music by him. He loves this song in particular.

  • @positivityforever

Have you hung out with Prince? How do you know he likes the song? Intrigued and wondering if you are lying.

  • @blueskyfeeling

Sorry that I was't being more specific. In the late 80's Prince D.J'd some radio broadcasts from Paisley Park and played un-released material, at that time, and songs that he personally liked. This is one one of them and that is strictly how I know that he liked this song.

  • Not certain if you are asking because you are a Prince fan. If so, he contributed vocals to a song on her next album. The song is called "Why Should I Love You". She also contributed vocals to his song "My Computer".

  • I waited for so long for this album to come out nearly 20 years ago and it was mind blowingly good. 20 years on it is still in my top 5. Absolutely brilliant. Spanks anything in the charts today....super duper.

  • Being a guy that favors blondes, Kate Bush is thee exception to that rule.

Looks great, sings great and dances like a force of nature.

+ David Gilmour absolutely jams on this song too!

  • @chikotntw.I don't favor blondes or brunettes,I favor Kate.

  • What spectacular song, something to listen forever.

  • You might not think so now,

But just you wait and see:

Someone will come to help you.

    Love it!

  • Thank you for posting...I love this old song...

  • I love the sparkle throw at the end! "yeah!"

  • My God, it's full of stars!

  • kate would be the only female god i could accept

  • so amazing .thanks again for putting this up
