  • Gentlemen, I believe the Internetz has just been won. This is something I've been meaning to attempt for XNA based dx9 shaders for half a year now but never got around to. Perfect implementation of exactly what I'd have like to do! How about converting it for use as a generic directX editor?

I know I completely lack both the motivation and technical skill to learn and use this piece of software... but that doesn't mean I can't give you mad props for both creating it and releasing it for free. Fucking mad props dude. This is incredible and will surely simplify the process of shader creation and testing... as far as I knew shader editing occurred in text-based interfaces for source before the advent of this program. Awesome.

  • Is it possible to write SSAO, DOF and godray shaders?

  • @iamthe1337est You could probably do SSAO and DOF *if* you provide the required input data first (high res depth/ normal RTs) and set up the post processing chain properly. It has a godrays example though called postproc_sunrays.

  • @zbddbzproductions The 1st song is called "Turret Wife Serenade" and the second is "The Friendly Faith Plate". If you search "Portal 2 Soundtrack", the first result is the official soundtrack albums page where you can download the soundtrack.
