  • Love it. My small munsterlander also had a great time playing on this beach with a friends Large Munsterlander. My SM plays in just the same way... aren't they just fabulous dogs!

  • @aliceinman Is your SM from one of the Melnyk litters? Bella is from the A litter. 7 years old on 13th December. Yes they are just fabulous dogs, would LOVE more if there were any available.

  • My uncle has a Small Munsterlander Pointer. They are excellent hunting dogs! I just love them!

  • Cute video. Thumbs up!

  • Hey, thanks for your reaction on my video! Is the Munsterlander yours? They are beautiful dogs on your video, so playful. They always stay playful, don't they?

By the way, beautiful beach there!

  • @hutseflutsel Hi, yes the Munsterlander is mine, she is one of perhaps 25-30 in the UK, they are very rare here. Wonderful dogs, wish we could have another!

  • @relaxadog Really??? Just 30 in the UK? Only in my village ( Netherlands ) are like 5 or 6 Munsterlanders. We live near forests and they are really wanted for haunting here. How did you find your dog then? In the UK?

  • @hutseflutsel A pair was brought back to the UK in 2003 by an army officer and his dogs had 2 litters (nests). After this nobody has bred any more. Maybe we will come to the Netherlands for another!

  • @relaxadog So you want a second dog? We've got enough breeders here :)

But also a lot people making money out of it, those puppy's are lookalikes. Not real munsterlanders. They sell them for less money and unfortunately there are a lot of people buying a 'munsterlander' Mostly its a mix and not healthy. I got Mila from an ofiicial breeder.

  • @hutseflutsel Oh yes I would love another Munsterlander but its not easy because dogs are not allowed in the country without a Pet Passport. This means micro-chipping, rabies innoculation, blood test then a 6-month wait before dog can even enter the UK. :-(

  • @relaxadog I see. A Munsterlander puppy born by an official breeder in the Netherlands already is micro-chipped, has all the innoculations and an European Pet passport. Why do you have to wait 6 moths then? For the results of the blood-test?

  • @hutseflutsel I don't know why, but the regulations here say that there must be a 6 month wait from the date of the successful blood test before the animal is allowed to enter the UK. Its bad news as it means we cannot import young puppies and/or would have to find a breeder who would be prepared to keep the puppy until the end of the 6 month wait. Not so easily done.

  • Your Bella looks like our Alina! I like your videoclip, it is so funny.

  • They love the beach - I bet your Alina also likes to roll in sand, yes?!

  • Sadly we have no beach, but in the last weeks we had lots of snow - and that was the very best !!!

  • Oh yes, snow is just as good!

  • What a romp !

  • beautiful dogs! i want a wirehaired so much! they look so happy :)

  • Thank you - they really love it on the beach!

  • That's so adorable, so nice to see they're having so much fun.
