  • Fantastic! Sublime! *_* i Love Guitar Jazz

  • What an album that was.

  • haven't listened to this in 7 years. I really can't find a reason why. I'm sorry Wes...but I'm back home now :)

  • Guitar playing from another zone. Wes was hard to believe and some 50 yrs later, he still is.

His imagination & technique will never ever be surpassed.

George Benson says "Wes played PRETTY Blues..." and that sums it up.

Who has total command of the Blues like this?

Lush block chords, smooth octaves, harmonic genius all done with humility & great love.. Pure beauty.

  • He was such an amazing musician. Its outsanding how he could be so melodic and at the same time smooth n easy... His phrases are amazing!

  • Smooth baby smooth . . .

    ?;^)

  • Amazing

  • my mom used to play me this song all the time when I was little. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love he octaves...Im definitely going to transcribe this. My octave work sounds corny and immature. Thanks for the upload

  • This solo is the definitive work on how to play block chord solos on the guitar! I've spent a lot of time studying it and trying to copy it.

You know what makes it even more amazing...he recorded this whole album on a guitar he borrowed from someone else!! (Kenny Burrell)

  • wicked track....very uplifting xxxxxxxxx
