The RC8 in the video has the full KTM race kit which removes the limiter. Before the race kit was installed I saw 186 on the speedo once but it was lying to me. The race kit and ECU flash seemed to fix that. On a different run I held 191 for several seconds and verified it with a GPS. Honestly 186 or 190 it doesn't matter. Its crazy fast at those speeds. I would say a nice corner at 100 is way funner that 190 in a strait line. It would be cool to be in the 200MPH club though.
A zx10 can go 190 all day? Wow, a kid at the gas station told me his dad got to 215mph on his 1100. There is talking about it and actually doing it so where is your video of breaking 190 on a zx? Besides they are two totally different bikes. The Kawi is marketed to the masses where bench racing sells more bikes to possers who will never use it to its full potential. Yes there are bikes that have a faster top speed but I didn't see one zx10 at any of the 6 track days I did this last summer.

Only 140 and 160? That's commuting speeds. J/K. You don't want to go 190 anywhere a bunny could jump out at you or a bird fly by. The road is very narrow when going this fast! The bike has the full KTM race kit including the Akro muffler, speed screen (awesome at this speed), forged wheels, 520 chain kit,37 tooth rear sprocket (over geared, should have ran stock) and heavy endurance racing slicks. I seriously need to update my site RC8HQ.COM with all the current mods to the bike.

Yea they'll do that, but with different ignition maps all bikes follow the 186 rule out of factory bro...
