what mode do you have to be on in order to get it because i did it on all of the difficulty modes from the begginning of the stage and used the seaqunce but still nothing happened and also which side of the room do you have to start on

hey i went through the order of the rings that you put up in legendary mode and i killed every enemy in the stage and it didn't work so can you please tell me if i did anything wrong
