not trying to be racist, but why does it seem like every surgical method video on youtube is narrated by an arab (hindu? indian? etc...) doctor...is it just me or has other people noticed that too
@badger5079 you are right but man this is not the only reason they seek for knowledge and Arab professors and doctors helped your country a lot like magdi yacoub
I like the subcuticular technique, but I'm no doctor and there is probably a reason to use different techniques.

I think the guy is latin American. However, arabs and Indian doctors often come to Western countries for financial reasons.

@romioIV
I am not trying to disparage people who move to another country for financial reasons. There is nothing wrong with that.

Will the way that the sutures raise the skin cause a raised scar or keloid?
griffithdd91 2 years ago
this method of suturing have a better alignment of wound edges. This must not produce raised edges, all depends on the technique done by the surgeon.
Keloid formation depends on a patient wound healing, and vertical mattres suturing is not a risk factor for keloid formation

what kind of knot do you use to finish the suture?
and do you use absorbable or non-absorbable sutures?
